Importing from Japan - bonsaicars.com by Dan Roberts
Anyone had any experience with this company? Is there any way I can check them out before using their service? I'm actually interested in a Corvette and the prices they've sold them for in the past are very reasonable, much less than the UK market (and that's the "all in" UK price). Sorry if this gets asked a lot, couldn't find a FAQ for this NG. Cheers, Dan

Location of Mazda remote locking radio receiver by Adam Lipscombe
I lost the key for my imported Mazda Bongo MPV, and have had to get a new one from Japan. The new key requires that the central locking system be reset to recognise it. I have to instructions on how to do this, but i simply cannot find the central locking radio receiver box (it has the reset button on it). I have looked inside the drivers side door panel, the tailgate and under the bonnet but...

Steering column mounted gear selector by Paul
I have jsut returned from America, and spent 2 weeks driving an automatic car with a steering column mounted selector. I found it very convenient, and as the parking brake was a foot operated affair under the dash there was nothing in the middle of the car....so there was a huge armrest and a place to put cups in the middle. It seemed really practical to me, which got me to thinking.....

SCI Direct and Micronet Showrooms by Nigel C
On 2/12/02 I ordered an Audi from SCI Direct with an expected delivery time of 12 weeks and paid their initial fee. The next communication passed me over to Micronet Showrooms `their associate company`. As of 25/10/03 I have been offered a car to the spec I ordered with an increase in price of 18.9%, putting it more than £1,000 over UK list. This I rejected in acordance with my contract. Needless...
