Micronet - Watchdog by ²°°³
I've heard a rumour that the Loach bruvvas are going to make an appearance on Watchdog................Anybody clarify this. Also I'd love to hear from anybody who has ever got a car from them within the time and price they were originally quoted - I doubt such a customer actually exists. Surely this outfit must be put out of business soon judging by the amount of **** press they...

DC Cook Direct / Virgin Cars by bert
A chap asked on 24 Oct 2004 for comments from anyone who had used Virgin cars recently - Based on personal experience of trying to purchase a car from DC Cook Direct (the company who have now taken over Virgin cars), I would strongly advise against having anything to do with these two companies. My long story is as follows - - Placed an order for a Ford Focus in Dec 2003 and paid deposit...

AVOID MICRONET SHOWROOM - DIS-SATISFIED - STRESSFUL by lost without a car
Folks wish I'd made better use of the internet before I ordered my new car via the above in May this year. It seemed too goood to be true and it was! I paid the remaining balance of my car 6.5 weeks ago and have still not taken delivery of the vehicle. Communication ground to a halt after they had my money for 2 weeks, I have had to instruct a solicitor to engage legal proceedings. From what...

Micronet Showroom - Audi A3 Order... by Nick
Hi, I purchased an Audi A3 1.6 Manual 3dr for £13,500, with £4,000 extras such as DVD Navigation etc... Total was £17,545 originally. Oh how I wish I had thought to see if Micronet Showroom was a dodgy company back in early April when I ordered a new Audi A3 from them. Well, what can I say, it's been problem after problem with them to be honest, exactly as other people have been saying:-

Do Broadspeed import cars or use uk main dealers? by junk1@davidbevan.co.uk
I have been looking at Broadspeeds website and from what I read it has left me with the impression that broadspeed has negotiated large discounts with UK car dealers in return for selling high quantities. Is it true for example that if I ordered a VW from Broadspeed that they would put me in touch with a UK VW dealer (which might not be local) and that the VW dealer would process my order as...

Headlight Adjustment - Import by piggy73
I have a Dutch model Hyundai Elantra (2001) which is LHD. I have had to move back to the UK and I am registering it in the UK & need to permanently adjust the headlight beam to dip to the left. (stickers, beam deflectors and other non-permanent changes are not acceptable) Will it be possible to modify my current set of headlights (currently dipping to the right) or do I need to buy a new...

I have a Opel Zafira DTi Elegance and am thinking of part ex'ing it for a 4x4 of some description. I have a few questions.... Am I obliged by law to tell the dealer that it is an import?
