Micronet - money back!!!!!! by silkypike
I too was sucked in by the impressive website, and low prices. I ordered a new Golf GTi back in February, and was told of a 20 week wait, so opt'd to have the car on Sept 1st for the 55 plate. I paid only my £500 deposit. Mid may I received a letter stating the car had arrived, and would be ready for collection May 27, i rang the offices and they confirmed it was in fact with the supplier and...

Micronet Showroom - does anyone know ..... by the-original-JR
Ignoring the tributes on the MS website (which might, just might, be a tiny little bit difficlt to validate), does anyone know of any MS customer who has received the car they ordered, on the day promised, at the price agreed, to the original spec and in mint condition? In fact, does anyone know if MS have ever actually supplied any cars?

Cars4Charity by Foggymind
Does anyone have any knowledge, good or bad about Cars4Charity. They have produced a very good quote which is not too disimilar to one given by MS. Is it too good to be true?

Micronet Customers - Action Required. by >
All past and present Micronet Showroom customers are urged to make immediate contact with the ITV who are collecting material on Micronet for a forthcoming programme. I have spoken to them today and said I would spread the word on this newsgroup. Obviously this note also applies to our bestest friends young Richard and David " I've got your money " Loach.........to ensure a balanced...

Micronet Showroom - Ferrari Enzo by moonman2
Having just checked out the wonderful Micronet web site (must be as it hooked me in !!!), I was amazed to see that they can supposedly supply a brand new Ferrari Enzo for the bargain price of £619,297 with a lead time of just 20 to 38 weeks. This leaves me slightly confused as I was under the impression that with the Enzo, you couldn't just buy one, Ferrari only sell this particular model to...

LHD Porsche - alias Micronet Showroom !!! by moonman2
Those devious Loach brothers are at it again. Whilst most people on this forum are now aware that these masters of deception are also operating as LHD Porsche, I was staggered to see that they are supposedly selling a brand new Porsche Carrera GT for the tidy sum of £312,995 -some £13,000 or so less than a rival dealer !!! If some poor mug falls for this one, can you imagine the interest...

MICRONET and LHDPORSCHE.COM are the same company! by Somerled
I have read some of the worrying threads below regarding Micronet and I am shocked these guys are allowed to continue trading let alone stay out of jail! I have never ordered from them, but having browsed www.lhdporsche.com (they also advertise on autotrader) the Loach brother along with Dave Maguire have created a new company. I am sure if you look it up, it will appear to be a totally...

Two questions about European cars in the UK by antgel
Hi all, 1. Is it still the case that large savings on the price of new cars can be had by buying them from European dealerships and then registering them here? I know that, say, five years ago, this was true, but was wondering if the new car market here has "normalised". 2. If my friend who lives in an EU country moves here, how long can he keep driving round on his foreign plates? Are there...
