we are looking for a lhd 4x4 to travel to Spain in. After reading comments
about lhd company we will not be using them. Has anyone had a good
eperience with a firm they would recommend. Looking for something nearly
new, like a shogun or similar.

Just search on autotrader.co.uk there are plenty of LHD cars dotted around
UK, if you are going to live in Spain then get a car on Spanish plates as
its far easier.

Hiya, I lived in spain recently, now I have returned to the uk and bought my land rover discovery back with me. Its on spanish plates but the itv (spanish mot) has expired but I took it for an english mot and it passed that with no probs. I have to now take it for a sva test just so i can register it over here. Cars in spain, 4x4's especially are expensive to buy. If they are cheap there is a good chance it has had a hard life. Mine is a 97 3dr discovery and i paid 12k for it in 04. A lot of dosh for what is effectively an old car. Hope this helps.
