Folks - I have just managed to get our =C2=A310k back from Richard Loach courtesy of th=
e LHD Car Company - after 3 months of blood sweat and tears.
The usual, take the money, promise the world, deliver nothing after a string of delay=
s, a string of lies, leaving you out of pocket, hugely inconvenienced, very stressed=
and bitter.
In the end after they had failed to produce anything for the money (not an uncommon sto=
ry by all accounts) I managed to get Richard Loach to refund the full amount. It was ver=
y hard work and meant me wasting the best part of a week of my life ringing, e-mailing, h=
aving the phone put down on me, not answered or not called back etc etc.
They are scum-bags of the highest order and have a record for this behavious stretchi=
ng back several years.
Beware and stay well clear if you have any sense.

I have tried to Email you directly but it fails to get through.
Have you reached court yet or did they pay up before the court date as I have read in othe=
r forums that they sometimes do? I am just about to embark on court proceedings to get m=
y money back (=C2=A323,000) as they have had this for 3 months without actually bothe=
ring to pay the German dealer for the car that they were supposed to be selling to me.

Did you get contacts from many victims of these crooks?

Did you approach any of the regulatory agencies (Police, Trading Standards, OFT) an=
d, if so, were they able to help at all?

Mike,

Go to the forum on Parkers where you have left a message and I have provided
some advice that worked for me.

OFT told me its no there business and was directed to Nottingham Trading
Standards. Worth writing to them. They must have a trail of info. Also
Google web and get in touch with the Mirror reporters. I know they are
getting regular calls about these guys.

I have actually done everything that you suggest in this thread. The Trading
Standards in Nottingham have recorded my complaint but I have to show them
that I have written with snail mail to the company before they will accept
the story is OK to take any further; it seems that a 6" pile of Emails is
not considered good enough as they can be faked! I sent the full story to
the Mirror Investigation team a couple of nights ago, pointing out that the
average Joe Public (like I was back in May!!) would probably not know about
the warnings in these dedicated Forum chat lines and needs to be protected
from these villains. I also contacted Watchdog to let them know that their
old friends were still at it! I also intend to go back to the Police and
encourage them to actually do something about this - to me - clear criminal
activity.

I got my solicitor to send the letters to authorities. Maybe that is worth a
try?

These guys know the loopholes and exploit people as much as they can get
away with.

Keep me posted as to how you get on.
