Default Micronet - money back!!!!!!

I too was sucked in by the impressive website, and low prices. I ordered a
new Golf GTi back in February, and was told of a 20 week wait, so opt'd to
have the car on Sept 1st for the 55 plate. I paid only my £500 deposit. Mid
may I received a letter stating the car had arrived, and would be ready for
collection May 27, i rang the offices and they confirmed it was in fact
with the supplier and would be with Micronet the next day, so I should pay
the balance, like a fool I did. Next day, I was advised of a slight delay
and the car would arrive shortly. To cut a long story short It still
hasn't arrived. After inumerate phone calls, e-mails registered letters. I
have just got my money back, and the cheque cleared !!!! Mr loach did in
fact refund my deposit, before the full balance, for whatever reason, i'm
still not sure. Thanks you who ever advised pay the man a visit, will give
rewards, cos thats exactly what i did. I sent a letter indicating my intent
of seeking legal advice, and turned up at his office [ i only live twenty
mins away] I called him from the car park, and walked in whilst on the
phone to him.

Got my cheque there and then , and now the nightmare is over for me, 8
weeks he had £22,500 of my money, nice little earner !!!!

Can some one tell me what the e-mail is for the lady @ the ITV

Default Micronet - money back!!!!!!

Hi Shaun
Thats a funny story - same as ours
We were also given a 8- 10 week delivery time and surprise surprise a
delivery date of 27th may.ordered on the 23 march.
Paid them in full 10 days before and whoa ,there is a delay. Now been
waiting 17 weeks and only just found out about them being banned from
being company directors till 2013!
David has offered to pay me back about 18k,
but after this I want the car which is supposed to be at harwich or all
money back.
Liked the way you got your money back m8
Gonna try that myself.
Only thing is I live 2-3 hrs away in cumbria so its along way to
nottingham
We`ll see what happens
Thx
Longy

Longy - accept nothing less than a full refund you are being pi55ed around
in a big way by these two idiots. Your story is typical of the way in which
the scam operates, your can is unlikely to have actually been ordered - ask
them for a VIN number which you can check with the manufacturer - it won't
be available because the car is not at Harwich it hasn't even been ordered
yet.

Default Micronet - money back!!!!!! message to Longy

My advice to you would pay the man a visit. His offices are a small unit on
an industrial unit just out of town. There is no frills to this place, very
sparsely furnished in fact, and they could be gone in under an hour, and
you'd never know they were there.
I know its a bit of a trek to get to him, but he can fob you off all day
on the phone & by e-mail,he did me !!!!! Face to face he seems to back
down.
With everything that is going on [court cases/ tv appearnces] , sooner
rather than later seems the best plan of action regards a visit.
When I visited, there were in fact several brand new, unregisterd nissan
350z, and audi TT's , parked up against the building. Which incidentally,
has ZERO security, so once they go home at night the cars are left
unattended.

I wish all the luck in the world, cos i know hoe i felt from the time i
found out about there antics, and history.

GOOD LUCK !!!!!!!!!!!
