my missus hates the car but i love it, only problems i have had are the fuel
economy, it does only 25 mpg on a good day!
The water pump has gone on it today so i am looking for a replacement, i
have been told that the engine is the same as used in the nissan primera,
does anyone know if this is correct?ll

Hello mark.
Call 07951 025852 and ask. These guys are gods and know the top
performance and import stuff. Be cool, they have saved me a fortune and
know their trade.
25 mpg is what I get. Good luck

or rings have gone but,no smoke or loss of oil, the engine is fine revs
happy in neutral its not out of tune some say the torque converter is duff
or the transfer box is no good. any body know whats wrong come on nissan

Wow, loads more owners on here now! I've got a 2.4 petrol version and the
fuel economy aint that bad really. Used to own a Delica so used to
spending a lot of time next to a fuel pump!
I'm having problems with it feeling really sluggish, plus I have a noise
from the engine which possibly sounds like the bottom pulley squeeking? I
need to do a mini service filters etc but having problems finding them.
Plus I think the grease points on the suspension need doing but can't
locate them (getting a noise going over bumps) Dave shop on e-bay has
sorted me out with plugs and a new speedo from Japan (I broke mine)
Until a website appears I have joined www.nissanownersclub.co.uk were
there are one or 2 Largo owners.
If anyone has any info on filters /engine and transmission fluid changes I
would be grateful.

Thanks

I now have the Nissan part numbers for the filters.
Air - 16546-3j400
oil - 15208-70j00
fuel - a640m-41bmo-sa

Cost me £30 for the 3 from a nissan dealer and they are off the shelf
parts.
These are for a 2.4 petrol version.

Hi there,
I am thinking of buying a Nissan Largo HighwayStar Ltd Edit 2.0 Turbo Diesel
tdi and am finding it difficult to research MPG ( some say 40 others say 25 )
on this and very little else ( problems ( leaking roof lights ), reliability
etc...)!
Surely there must be dozens of people with them ??
These vehicles look fantastic and from what I have seen on ebay, seem
reasonable for parts.
Anyone know anything at all ??
Cheers
John

Hi John

as far as mpg goes i would say 25 is a safe bet, ive never hear about the leaking roof lights but a bit or sealant would sort that out. as far as parts are concerned then daves shop on ebay, scrap yards and even nissan. i dont know if yu read about the problem i had with my alternator but to cut a long story short i had it refurbed and replaced in a day total cost £130. yes they are great and look good to but they do say beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I like mine but then ive seen a couple of bog standard ones that would put me off buying one on looks alone. Cheers Alan

hi guys i think i have just put information on the another thread not been on for a while but can now tell you that the (nissanlargoownersclub.co.uk) is now up and running in the last two days but at present to get to it you need to use these two websites to log in (nissanlargo.co.uk) or
(largoparts.co.uk) because i have the owners club name registered with another company so am having it transfered over to them may take a little time.all three websites all belong to the the owners club there are still some more facilitys to go on but at least we are on the way. but please use the other sites and they will direct you to it hope we all can help to build it up to help us all keep are vans up and running and hopfully get together at a meet somewhere hope to see you over there
many thanks alan
