Sharing my experience I had 1.3 xli 1996 with same engine converted at 21.000KMs to LPG. After 90.000 KM got a broken valve and all the valve seats were BAD.! Spent a Lot $$$ to repair and after 3.000Km this engine began consuming oil, like 1lt/1.000Km. Then I exchanged the engine with one from a crashed car (11KKM), but since was I was afraid of more problems sold the vehicle...

Hi I have a 98 Ford Galaxy 2.3 with plastic (or similar) inlet manifold and multi-point petrol injection. It does 22mpg on that awful petrol stuff and I desperately want to fix it (i.e. get it running on gas). As with most people this is for cash reasons (oh and the environment and all that sort of stuff) and hence I want to fit a system that is sufficient without going overboard.
