Peugeot 406 3.0 v6 by
Andrew Kirby
Hi Folks,
Been lurking here a little while, but this is my first post. Right,
anyway, my question is: are there any specific issues with an LPG install
on a 3.0 v6 in a 406? Hunting around on google didn't bring up anything
(at least not in a language I can read :-)
TIA,
Andy

FA: 1968 (Tax Exempt) Series IIa Land Rover (LPG) For Sale (Again!) by
Nigel Eaton
I hope this isn't going to tread on anyone's toes. I think it's relevant
to both groups.
I've had to relist this due to a complete time (and money) waster.
Ebay Item # 2433125384
A 1968 Series IIa LWB Land Rover. It's a 2.25 petrol engine, with an LPG
conversion, and it's tax exempt.

enlightened us thusly:
Hi all,
I got two questions about driving on LPG in the UK
1. What ferries from Calais/Oostende accept LPG cars on ferries to the UK?
2. What's the LPG price in the UK?

AH
Apologies if this has been covered but am new to this group.
I am wondering whether this is possible, how much I would expect to pay, and
whereabouts in Grantham/Newark area I would go to get it done.

The problem is that she is completely missing the bigger picture.
The fact is that if all of these manufacturers have invested in LPG,
then
it
would be totally unfair to remove to incentives that make the LPG

Spluttering on gas fine on petrol by
Dave Wheatley
Tonight while running on lpg sat in traffic my RR started misfiring on &
off then seemed ok. Then traffic moved and as I tried to move off it
started spluttering, almost stalling. I quickly flicked over to petrol &
it was fine. A few more 'tests' on the journey proved that it is only on
gas that it happens. I'm having to top up the rad with coolant as the
dash light keeps coming on - I've...

It is such an obvious and completely

prevent it happening.
Of course you're forgetting monumental, beauraucratic stupidity, short

LPG & Oil Control by
Hog
The '99 Volvo S40 with OMVL LPG conversion I bought recently seems to have
been using a lot of oil intermittently. Like 3 litres in 2000 miles. The
supplying dealer tells me he spoke to Volvo and the AA. Both reported that
when running on LPG engines could start to consume a lot of oil. Anyone
heard of this before?
There is no leakage but neither is there blue smoke. It must be burning but
it...

Advance unit from www.wtv-uk.com on a Rover V8 by
Graeme
Hi all
I am currently trying to fit an 'AV 110' advance unit from the above
supplier to my 1989 vintage Rover V8. This V8 is the sort with the ignition
amplifier bolted to the outside of the dizzy.
I have plumbed the unit in as per the printed sheet but I am getting no
spark whatsoever. I think that I am not wiring it up quite as intended - my
wiring as follows:

Mac, I understand LOX perfectly well, if you read my post you'll see that I

limitations of the engine's internals, hence only the short blast. I've got

1993 Audi 80 2.0 on LPG by
Paul Morgan
I'm thinking of buying a 1993 Audi 80 2.0 which has already been converted
to LPG. Not sure if the engine's a 16V or 8V single/multipoint injection
until I actually look at it. Are there any issues with this car running on
LPG? Never heard any valve seat probs with them so hopfully none. Thanks.
