Liquid LPG Injection by
Biker_Bry
Some of you were looking at the ins and outs of Liquid Injecting Propane.
I'm a Yank, so sory my measurments are in English.
The difficulties to overcome LPEFI are as follows...
1. Propane cannot hold a liquid state at underhood temps (207deg F)
2. Liquid must stay at the injector at all times while running (fuel pump
nessisary)
3. Vehicle must complete a purge cycle before starting...

Duty on LPG by
Gareth Roberts
Anyone heard what is happening to the duty on LPG for road use yet.
Mr Brown was supposed to let everyone know the outcome of the review on fuel
taxation by November.
I (like many others) am holding back on investing until I know for certain
what (if any) changes there are around the corner.

GreenFuel by
Tony
Has anyone had any experience with GreenFuel. I am about to get a Pharos kit
for my Primera and have it fitted by them - but if they are total monkey,
then naturally I won't. Please let me know if you have had good or bad
experience with them

Diesel Conversion?? by
Stewart Hargrave
A very dodgy looking site,
http://www.ilovesponge.com/spongecars/diesel/diesel.htm
makes this claim:
"SpongeCars have been working with engineers in the UK and abroad to
achieve the goal of converting diesel engines to run on LPG. The
system has been developed over the past 3 years, taking into account
all variations of the diesel engine. After extensive development work,
our goal has been...

Land Rover Brotherhood by
David French
This looks quite interesting:
http://www.3sbaars.nl/Brotherhood/Engels.html
(or www.landroverbrotherhood.com)
Basically it's a cooperative organisation - you get stuck, you can call
someone locally to bail you out. I guess the liability side needs some
consideration but I like the theory.
They are in need of UK members if it's going to work - I'm tempted.

LPG Tuning nr Hastings by
Jos Vernon
Anyone recommend any LPG - knowlegeable garages nr Hastings?
A guy fixed a broken part in it and modified the tuning but it's now running
at 100-110 miles per tank where it used to do 150-180. He seems to be unable
to get it back to normal despite about three different re-tunes. Hmmm....

Kits by
Midnight
Hello group,
Do any of you know of a good LPG kit supplier as I am
looking into converting my escort to LPG. My escort has an 1800cc 16v ztec
engine and drinks like a dehydrated camel. If any of you know of any
websites who supply kits and are not ashamed to advertise the price of their
kits could you please let me know.
TIA and best wishes.

Ford Focus - Fill shut off by
Steve
Hi
I've now just added another lpg car to the family fleet making us a dual
dual fuel houshold !!
the recent addition is the wifes 2002 Ford Focus 1.8 lpg. The lpg option was
supplied with the car from new. One irritating problem with it is the fill
shut off. The tank is a 48 litres doughnut tank so should fill to around 38
litres, however when you get to 26 litres theres a donk and the...

LPG Garage NW London by
Neil Cummins
I've asked this before, but lost the response, so I apologise in advance.
Can anyone recommend a garage in NW London (Stanmore/Edgeware) that could
give my BRC LPG set up a look over - it's fitted to a 1983 110 V8.
Regards
Neil

Leak Location by
SteveG
Howdy folks,
I filled my Discovery up with LPG earlier and on the way home SWMBO
complained of the smell. Having checked under my armpits we concluded
it wasn't me but rather a nasty niff of LPG. Switching to petrol
resulted in the smell going away.
I've been all around the vehicle to make sure unions, etc., are tight
and can't find any obvious source for the pong ... but it is
definitely there...

averaging 34mpg but on petrol)
Now, at the moment I can't convert it to gas due to bmw warranty rules but
I'm not going to wait a year, just long enough to ensure that all the...

Oliver, correct me if I'm wrong, but did you have a Festa 1.4 zetec
with lpg conversion?
I have a Fiesta 1.6 zetec 's' with lpg conversion and have recently
bought a flashlube kit due to my worries with valves etc.
I read you have a fl kit also, where did you put the inlet and did it
solve your problems with valve recession etc?
I fitted my inlet to the line from the throttle body to the...
