Rover V8 manifiold on LPG by Adam Coombes
Hi all I've recon'd & converted my P5 V8 lump to LPG now and it seems to run fine, but the idle is either too fast or too rough depending on carb adjustement. The vapouriser seems to be set up OK so I'm looking at the carbs. Does anyone know if the standard Rover twin carb manifold ducts each carb top specific pistons or do both carbs serve all 8 pots. What I'm trying to work out is how critical...

Problems running on LPG by Mark Lane
I have a Disco II 4.0 with a Romano LPG system, K&N filter. I had no problems with LPG for first 20,000 then had new cylinder head gasket and it has never run well again on LPG. The car runs perfect on petrol. When I run on LPG I get misfires which on investigation are mainly 4 and occasionally 1. It does run better on a long run with only occasional misfires and doesn't appear to misfire on...

backfire... i think by mojo
Hi just bought a 1989 BMW 530i auto with gas conversion. figured it would be worth a go and like the idea of economy with a bit of go. The point: driving along doing about 40 when bang, loss of power and panic. checked under the bonnet and saw that a plastic cover and a metal plate had blasted off. replaced/clipped this back and started the car up again and managed to crawl home. runs very...

Wheel and tyre Cover by Jonathan Warner
Hi, I'm having my 2-year old 2.3 petrol Ford Galaxy converted to dual fual/LPG this week and I'm having a 66 litre tank fitted into the space where the spare wheel goes. What I'd like to do is place the spare wheel in the back for most journeys unless I need the space for luggage. Does anyone know where I can buy a bag to fit the 16" wheel with 225/55

LPG for ALL in Spain by Mick
When I first had my car converted I was informed that only taxi's and buses could purchase LPG in Spain. I recently contacted Totalgas and Repsol to ask why this is and was very surprised to receive the following from Repsol. Quote. We answer to your writing, received through our e-mail on July 9th of 2004, in which you show the necessity to know if it is possible to provide LGP to private...

mitsubishi gdi by richyp
Hi Guys I've had a dual fuel (Ford original equipment) Mondeo now for 3 years, and fancy a change, what i fancy is a Mitsubishi Shogun Pinin I know that they are already fairly economical for there size, but what I want are the other advantages of LPG, cleaner oil, cleaner exhaust less servicing! Anybody know of one being converted? by whom? and at what cost? Regards RichyP

Is this Possible? by Mick
We returned from France yesterday via Dover and filled up at the Shell Station on the A20. The car was still running on gas and the red LED had been lit for some miles before Calais. Now my car was fitted by a reputable dealer with two 45 litre tanks and the certificate gives a 80% ?? capacity of 77 litres. Then how could I possibly get 91.75 litres of gas in at Dover? This is not the first...

Vectra C factory conversion by mark
I've just taken delivery of a 2002 factory converted 1.8 sxi. Should I have any paperwork for the LPG side? It says on the log book bi fuel, but there is no tank certificate etc. Is this normal for a factory conversion? Also, what is the make of kit vauxhall use? Thanks Mark
