kit prices direct from italy? by
aston
Does any body know the average price of a lpg kit purchased direct from
Italy, for example to fit to a 4 cyl , single carburettor setup? here in the
UK I think that we are looking at aprox £400 from kit re-sellers, so are
there huge savings to be made by buying directly from Italy?
Thanks

OT: Environmental campaigners say all cars could be green by
Austin Shackles
On or around Wed, 15 Jun 2005 01:17:18 GMT, Solid Scot
enlightened us thusly:
Spamming git, that he is, about 10 groups in nearly all of which is it OT.
Naturally, he didn't include uk.environment, where it might be OT, so I
have, for the hell of it.
OK, it's OT here, too, I should know, I wrote the charter. However...

LPG conversion for Renault Laguna by
Simon Vassallo
Anybody has any idea where I could get my Renault Laguna converted to LPG
and how much it would cost.
Are there any DIY kits I am pretty handy around the car but have never
played around with LPG before.

Problems with LPG Cadillac by
Dan92Caddy
Hi all,
First post here, had a read of the FAQ so hopefully I won't ask too
many annoyingly common questions!
I've recently bought a 1992 Cadillac Seville STS. It's an automatic
with a 4.9 PFI V8. It was LPG converted by a company called Go Gas in
Southampton (the sticker is still in the window), not sure when but at
least several years ago according to previous owner. I have no
documentation...

Sill tanks for Range Rover by
willie@macleod-group.com
Hi,
Just got a old Range Rover which is needing a bit of TLC, currently
fitting new sills to it... anyway, it needs LPG on it to make running
costs livable with. I'm loathe to have a tank inside the vehicle
(which is what I did with the land rover 110 I run at the moment) so it
looks like I need sill mounted tanks. Can anyone here tell me what
size of tanks are commonly used in this...

Solenoid by
The Admiral
Hi peeps.
Been a while since I was last on here...
Anyway, the LPG solenoid on my Golf
decided to pack up. D'oh! I did try to source one from various people
and have had no luck. It's a BRC vap with the nice old
12V solenoid that has gone open-circuit. Being the LPG gurus that you
are, I'm wondering if you can offer any pointers? Looks like a
washing-machine solenoid valve, and I'm guessing...

which kit for aircooled vw 2 ltr. by
aston
I am currently considering converting my vow camper to lpg, however as the
engine is air-cooled I believe that the kit may need different parts than
that of a regular water-cooled engine.
The engine is a 2 litre single carb air-cooled setup, I shall be needing a
very large tank for this van (A Type 25 van) however where are the options
of mounting a tank in or on this van and what would be...

lpg in spain by
mvecd
what is the current state in spain regarding selling lpg to the public?
I've heard is now available. If so, does anyone have any maps/websites
with pump locations?
Also what type of filler do they use?
Is there a map, perhaps an autoroute pushpin set for LPG in france?
Thanks

Turbo conversion? by
Rick-Lancs
I currently have a LPG Vectra 1.8 Club.
I used to have a turbo Astra Coupe and miss the power.
http://www.greenfuel.org.uk/ says it would cost £1950 to convert the 2.0T
Vectra to LPG. Anybody else had a Turbo conversion? Any engines blow up...?
Would be pleased to hear if it works ok, as the wife has said I can have one
if its possible :) lol
Cheers

Range Rover conversion by
andrew henry
Hi
I'm hoping to convert my 96 4.6HSE but am increasingly confused at the best system. I'=
m hovering between Maclaren Nicholson as its vehicle specific and the Prinz, both at=
about =C2=A32,500, but wondered if anyone had experience of the cheaper (about =C2=A3=
1900) Zavoli or Bigas systems. Please help! I'm pulling my hair out here!

2000 Disco 4.0 by
Badger
Hi all, anyone got any specific front-end recommendations for a 2000 (X)
Discovery 4.0V8 auto? It's the later thor engine and management system.
Also, anyone know if the big torroidal ufo tank that fits in the boot of a
P38 rangie will go between the chassis rails of a disco 2??
I'm just being lazy here, I really ought to go and crawl under it with a
tape measure I suppose!
TIA,
Badger.

Emulate injectors - how? by
Peter
Dodge Durango 99 5.9L, converted to run on LPG (single point). When running
on LPG injectors are disconnected to prevent them from working (or rather
the common positive lead is routed thru resistor so that voltage drop on
injectors is insufficient for them to operate), and naturally PCM complains
about open injector circuits. Alldata is pretty vague about P0201-P0208
codes, and only says...

Per-mile charge to replace fuel duty and road tax? by
Fifer
I wonder what effect this proposal will have on us lpg users. A blanket
mileage rate would remove the incentive to use lpg. A lower per-mile
rate for registered lpg vehicles would redress that balance but would
remove the incentive for dual fuel cars to use lpg (if dual fuel cars
get a discounted rate, how would the government determine what fuel is
being used?)
Thoughts?

How easy is it ? by
Bob Sherunckle
Having occasionaly browsed this newsgroup more or less from the start,
googled the archives for a while now, checked out various suppliers etc. I
am now virtually convinced about converting my banger to LPG.
1989 Mazda 626 - the one in June's issue of Car Mechanics as a matter of
fact. 2.0 12 valve carbed engine and I would be fitting open loop with a
78mm mixer atop the carb.
I'm pretty...

Dave Rutherford
I have a 2002 Vauxhall Vectra converted from new by Vauxhall. I am currently
experiencing an intermittent fault where the system changes from LPG to
petrol for no apparent reason, if I then change the switch to petrol and
then back to LPG all is OK again. has anybody else experienced this problem
and do you know the solution?
Many thanks
