Filler Cop11? by George Gosbee
Hello all, I now have the bits for a recessed filler, that includes the rubber boot. Can this be fitted backing into the cars boot area with the pipe in its airtight hose going straight to the tank or does it have to exit the boot floor and then return to the tank so that all the airtight hoses drain any leak straight to outside? Also is there a up to date downloadable copy of COP 11 ?

DIY Romano Worcestershire by Martin
I am going to DIY fit a salvaged (2000 mile) Romano system into a Vauxhall Omega 2.6 V6 Kit was set for a 3.0 using a coil feed for RPM signal, also the straws were fitted to the top of the plenum whereas most 2.6 installs appear to go under the plenum. Is there anywhere in Worcestershire who could either do the whole lot? Or any places allowed to certify, my local installer doesn't touch...

DIY Romano System Who can Certify it by Baz
Hi, I have acquired a full LPG system to fit my 1998 Scorpio Cosworth from a similar vehicle. It is absolutely complete, even down to the pipe clips! I want to install the system my self as I know the car better than anyone but I want to get it fully inspected afterwards. I know about the soldering of all connections and not using crimps etc, but are there any other pitfalls I should be...

vauxhall vectra lpg problem by marty9
I wondered if any of you could help? Our car is a Vectra SRI, LPG factory fitted, W reg (2000). We've had the car since October, and have struggled getting advice from anywhere re the LPG side of things. Our nearest Vauxhall dealer that actually deals with LPG is nearly 100 miles away, and to be frank were pretty useless. We have a good local LPG garage, but they're working blind on the car,...

Ignition advance for dual fuel by jayc001
I'm about to convert a vehicle with a chevy 5.7 engine which has EFI (thottle body injection) and will be using dual fuel. Now on my discovery 3.9 I run just LPG and have adavnced my ignition by 12 degrees. It runs great and gives excellent MPG but I'm sure it wouldn't be happy with that on petrol. Now the chevy has knock sensor on the block so I was thinking I could advance it a smidge to get...

LPG marine europe LTD aka Autogas centres LTD anyone know about them? by jayc001
They were based in Poole, dorset and went belly up some time ago but I have a few of their change over switchs which I'm keen to use. One of them is quite a complex bit of kit which must do far more than just change over from gas to petrol. I'm guessing it does ignition adavnce and injector shut off too but I have no wiring diagrams for it. It has GM connectors on it and I'm sure its to suit a...

Lumpy idle, no power by Paul Collins
Hi Had a series of backfires yesterday in Wet/cold conditions. Airboz was saved by the blowback valve. Now it won't run on gas, I can just about keep it running, but it's very lumpy and I wouldn't want to drive it like that. Replaced Dizzy Cap, rotor, leads & plugs today, much bettr on Petrol, but no change on gas.

Lektron CO.RE.GAS System by Paul Collins
I'm having a few problems understanding the instructions on the Lektron CO.RE.GAS system. The instructions say that the engine should be revved to 3000/3500 rpm and then the manual regulator on the stepper motor should be adjusted until the LED's alternate. All ok so far. Then the destructions say that the engine should be left to idle, and the CONVERTOR (my capitals) should be...

Leonardo O2 sensor by paul
Hi, Have a range rover P38a which I have just fitted LPG to. Single point, Tartarini reducer, AEB Leonardo, emulators and ecu fix. It runs with no obvious problems on software, but is a bit rough, lumpy idle and no power. It is like it is running out of LPG, but tank is half full and LPG is getting to mixer. O2 sensor is wired to purple wire on Leonardo with grey wire isolated (original...

Cit XM V6 Bigas update. by George Gosbee
Have now striped and cleaned the valve blocks The system is a s/h Bigas 1st series sequential. This has given even cylinder firing. I think I screwed the jets in further than they were so weakening the mixture. Its ok when the cooling system is cold say upto 20 deg C it pulls up hill very well. Once the cooing system is much higher in then just hesitates uphill. Also set the system to start...

Tank Capacity by Tom Robinson
I drive from London to Leeds and back every week and usually fill up my tank at both ends as it isn't large enough to make a round trip. Usually it costs me about £10 in Leeds and £12 in London because of the higher cost of LPG in London and where the petrol stations I use are. I always just fill the tank until the shut-off valve kicks in and the tank is full. I know these valves can act a bit...
