No Power by Steve Taylor
Bloody 101 playing silly buggers today - no power at all, starts fine, runs without missing apparently, but nothing under the foot. Can vapourisers pack in fast ? Feels like he's fuel starved. Any ideas folks ? And to top it all,we got a puncture as we stopped, in the brand new tyres. Steve

Drove off with nozzile in. by kotecha.ravi@googlemail.com
Hi, I did something very stupid today - I drove off with the LPG filling nozzile still attached to my car. Looks like the nozzle was damaged and so was the pump as it would not work anymore. Just wondering - will the cost have to be paid by my insurance company or are the forecourt insured for this kind of thing?

BIGAS Sequencial Gas Kit Installation complete by david.cawkwell@tesco.net
Hi Group, I thought I would let you know my thoughts on the Bigas SGI kit after I have finished installing it. I bought it from Tinley Tech. Including software, cable. No tank as I have this from my previous installation. Other sellers had rubbished the Bigas kit as it was cheaper than their kit. Eg Voltran VSGI and OMVL Dream suppliers. I found the kit well made and the instructions clear....

sender to run a petrol gauge by CampinGazz
stuck now, tried chris prefect for a 40 to 240 or so sender to allow the lpg tank to display it's contents on the van's fuel gauge, i asked for any sender/gauge that works with a petrol gauge rather than the leds. they replied saying they do no such component, So i'm stumped again, everyone says you can get senders to allow a lpg tank to be read on the cars petrol gauge, but where the heck...

Having browsed the Chris Perfect site fairly extensively, I see they sell various fancy spark plugs like the NGK Iridium, for upwards of 10 quid a plug. Are they worth it ? Steve

Help! RR 3.5 Efi system by Pete M
I recently bought an '87 Range Rover EFi auto with most of an LPG system fitted. According to the chap I bought it from the LPG system had been "switched off", and he'd never used it anyway as there wasn't an LPG station near enough to his house to make it worthwhile, as the Rangey was cheap enough I figured it was worth taking a chance on. I'm not sure which system is fitted to it, there's...

Not strictly LPG question, but, by Steve
I have just fitted an electronic ignition system to my 101 Landrover, 3.5L V8, running on LPG. I am sure I have cocked up the timing, but wondered if the symptoms I have show it to those of you who know about these things ? Hi Austin. Unless I richen the gas up very, very considerably, it doesn't fire at all, when I run the gas very rich, it fires then revs nicely for about 1-2 seconds and...

technical ponderings. by Austin Shackles
I've been thinking about liquid phase injection... The injection system on the sierra (K-jet) runs, IIRC, at a nominal 5.5 bar (or something around that, anyway). This is not far different to the pressure that you get in a propane tank, provided the temperature is something reasonable. is there any reason why I can't feed liquid LPG from the tank to the fuel distributor inlet on the K-jet...

Looking for cheap sources of LPG by Matthew Jenkins
It seems some people are paying a lot less for LPG than me (e.g. David Cawkwell stated in a post earlier today he pays 30 ppl.). I have recently got my car converted and there are only two sources I am aware of near us and both are ~46-47 ppl at the moment. I have heard very cheap LPG can be found at Country Wide Farmers (http://www.countrywidefarmers.co.uk/energy/autogas_sites.htm) but none...
