Juddering & backfiring when accelerating by
Mark & Tracey
Hi
I've had LPG fitted to my 99 Vectra 2.5 V6 for just under a year now and
I've notice that accelerating or applying power at low revs is no longer
smooth on LPG (fine on petrol), occasionally I get a quiet back fire if I
persist on keeping the pedal to the floor (overtaking at 50mph in 5th gear
instead of dropping a gear).
I have a feeling that one or more sparkplugs are not igniting the...

Hard to start if first fire missed. by
Jason James
This problem has been a feature of the OMVL system fitted to a Ford V8 I
own. If you miss the first 'kick', then you have to crank the engine as if
to clear out an over-rich situation. The same thing applies if the engine is
turned off, and then attempted to start before 5 mins have elapsed.
The system has been tuned many times by the original fitter mechanic. He
says its normal, and the owners...

Weber DCOE conversion by
Yvan
Anyone has LPG conversion with a Weber DCOE carbs? I am about to fit
two DCOE's (actually DHLA 40H -same thing) to my BMW.
I was wondering if it can be done, and what are experiences. Perhaps a
link, some photos?

LPG and underslung tanks on a Range Rover P38 by
TonywBond
Hi all,
I'm interested in knowing if any of you have a managed to do an LPG
conversion on a Range Rover P38 (mine is a 4.6 HSE on a 99 plate) that
does not either use the spare wheel well (2 punctures in the last year)
or sit in the boot. I know that for both defenders and discos you can
fit underslung tanks so I guess my question is can this be done on a
p38 and if so does anyone recomend a...

LPG on multi port EFi by
john
Someone said to me today that it was just a case of fitting a solenoid
and feeding LPG or petrol through the same pipe to the injectors.
Sounds /far/ too easy........ Engine is a small block Chevy 350 with a
Tuned Port Injection unit.

Emmegas switch by
big jon
I wonder if any one can help, does the old emmegas changeover switch( 7
wires on back of unit) automatically change the vehicle to gas once
running, or do you have to do it manually. I am willing to buy an
automatic unit, but if the one I have does it, then why spend the money
on something that is perfectly fine.
