How can we get a new newsgroup? by Potaroo
We need a new newsgroup heading "world.fuel.prices" It would be interesting to get the price of fuel around the globe from motorists. This way we can at least see if our respective governments are bull****ting to us. At present here in Sydney Australia we are paying $1:30 per litre for unleaded fuel. There I've started the ball rolling. Cheers, Peter

If I press the dash button so it is running on petrol then it will calibrate...

Petrol to Gas Switchover causing backfire by mike whiskey
I have recently returned to the fold of Gas converted Rangerovers, but this time with an auto box. I have a problem in that when cutting across from petrol to gas after first start, I get a backfire. I think this is because of how the changeover works. On my manual car, the change over was when the revs dropped when changing up from 1st to 2nd, or 2nd to third, depending on how hard I

Hi group I have a series 2 discovery with air suspension it has 2 gas tanks at the rear and the petrol tank has a reduced capacity ( 5 Gallons ) the lpg tanks are 80 litre so 65 usable. Under the passenger side of the car is the compressor and controls for suspension. Is there any way of increasing my lpg capacity without internal tanks. thanks in advance Al Clarke

Just bought a 1.8 Zafira and am thinking of LPG ( previously had LPG on my Jag XJ6 and V8 Disco) I take it the Zaf is a good option for LPG as you can buy them already done. Anyone know what range theyll do, I take it that the torroidal goes in the wheel rack under the car, whats the max size that will go in there? any pointers much appreciated. Cheers,

Bigas SGI Bits & Bobs by plod
Hi all, I've just purchased a Chevy engined Rangie that has a Holley injection kit on it. I am looking to convert to lpg, as I have my other Rangies, but the Holly gear would seem to be a bit of a limitation regarding mixers etc. My choice would appear to be between swapping to a holley / edelbrock carb, and then using one of the plate mixers, or using a gas injection kit that doesn't need a...

Reduce fuel consumption avg. 13%, greenhouse emissions 50-80% and increase power by Dennis Wijers
The EcoMag Activator System is a revolutionary component that can reduce the fuel consumption combustion engines, while at the same time reducing greenhouse gas emissions and giving your engine more power. By reorganising the molecular distribution of the fuel and air intake into the engine using a magnetic charge, the Ecomag Activator helps the engine run more economically, while also...
