Hi,
Can anyone recommend an approved installer in the North West that could convert my Merc Vito Diesel? Has anyone here had a Diesel converted to LPG? All the best, Jach |

You can, there is a Taxi in Accrington that was converted some years ago. The bloke who did it was called Len and was in a unit at Accy Gas(now gone). He fitted a spark injection system and some other stuff. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ So it's no longer a diesel engine. It would be far easier just to replace the engine with a petrol engine, then convert that, than to try to convert a diesel engine into a spark ignition engine. |

You cant convert a diesel, you can only have LPG as an additional fuel.
