Default Tanks and fuel gauges

Hi, In my car i have a torroidal tank. I know that fuel in a tank will
slosh about when moving but when my tank is half full to near empty it'll
show anything like all green lights, 2 green or RED.
Are the cylindrical tanks any better or are there any better tanks out there?

Gauges are never particularly accurate on LPG tanks.
