can anybody advise on installing lpg. the best system.the one to avoid is diy a possibility any advice would be gratefully received There is no 'best' system, it all depends in what vehicle you are installing it in. Post a little more info and I'm sure someone will oblige with a recommendation. DIY is not difficult, depends how good your spannering skills are. You will have to carry out some fairly simple wiring, slightly more complicated if the vehicle is injection as you have to tap into a couple of ECU wires to get signals for the LPG system, and to get the injectors to switch off. Mechanically, you will have to do a little fabrication to mount the tanks, and to make bits and bobs of brackets to mount evaporator, solenoids etc, and carry out the plumbing to install the vapour and liquid gas pipes, and to mount the mixer. All relatively simple stuff. |
