I have an Omega 2.0 ecotec with lpg fitted. It's a bit of a shed really
and my wife hates driving it, but the lpg is good, it's a pro conversion by CLS. It's the simple system with the "gas ring" on top of the throttle body. I've now bought a Merc E220 auto, much nicer car, but obviously more expensive to run on petrol. I was considering removing the lpg kit from the Omega to fit to the Merc; the throttle body is about the same size, though horizontally mounted. Is this a feasible swap? I haven't looked closely at how the ECU connections are made, but I will over the weekend. -- Regards, Chris (Please take out my car to reply by email) ---1967 Riley Elf---1965 Hillman Minx---1969 Morris Minor-- -1972 Mini Clubman estate--1957 Standard 8--1979 Ford Capri -----1966 Triumph Herald Estate---1966 Triumph 1300 FWD---- -----------1978 Mini 1000----------- ********** Please don't email in HTML! ********** |

Not to sure, but everything is feasible, with the right tools and
equipment. as long as the unit has a computer, the there is no real reason why it shouldn't work. It has worked on your omega,so as long as the mixer is the right one, go for it. |
