Default Pros/Cons: landi or prins?

Am going to get car converted in the next couple of days and have been told
by a green chap that the landi / landi renzo systems are unreliable and he
recommends a prins or brc system.

I would have to travel an additional three hours each way to meet the
greenfuel chaps people.

Can anyone tell me if why I should or shouldn't bother with the additional
journey? I'm thinking of service costs too.

Your advice / experience would be much appreciated.

Landi kit isn't reknowned for its long-term reliability, nor is BRC. Prinz
stuff is good, but it's very much a "closed-shop" as far as dealers are
concerned, special software written in that prevents aftermarket datalink
cable usage (even if you did manage to get the basic setup software). Prinz
dealers tend to charge around £100 just to connect the laptop to your car,
'cos they know you can't take it anywhere else!
IMO, the best systems on the market (SGI systems, at least) are those made
by OMVL such as the "Dream 21N". easy to install, easy to setup (relatively
speaking) and plenty of agents with the necessary dataleads and software.
OMVL also have currently the most reliable gas injectors on the market with
their "fast" injectors, they also have the most accurate injection period
of, I think, 3 milliseconds.

I bought a second hand skoda octavia that has an LPG conversion, it uses a
Landi system (has an ICOM 60L Torroidal tank) and it's been useless pretty
much since i bought it, it just dies, not stalls (in the middle of
junctions). Now the Vacuum pipe was cracked and since then the petrol side
of it is excellent, lot more power, the LPG system is the same (crap).

I have a question or two.
How hard would it be to change the system from Landi to OMVL or better?
(professional LPGA installer, not me)

Do you lot find you have to rev more to move away in lpg rather than petrol?

My system allows you to switch from Petrol to LPG with the flick of a
switch but going the other way stalls the engine (unless the switch off
and restart). Are there m/any that allow to switch back (either manually
or automatically) when you need a little more ooompf?

Another question...

Are there different qualities of gas? I filled up at the nearest garage
with LPG about 3-5 weeks ago (wasn't using it much then) and it ran the
best it has done since i've had it.

Two days ago i fill it up at the same place and afterwards it runs
crapply, any reason?

Also, this time i filled it right up, till the pump cut out, could that
make a difference?

It sounds like it might be worth taking it to an installer/specialist
and getting them to check it over and set it up properly.

With my car there is no difference in revs or power when pulling off.
It now feels a bit dead on petrol since i've tuned it and set it up
for LPG (petrol is only there for emergencies)

Some of the kits will automatically switch between fuels. I think
there are some that will go back to petrol when you reach certain rev
levels.

Mine stalls when switching from LPG to petrol at a very slow speed or
tickover because of the time it takes for the petrol to get from the
cut off solenoid to where it needs to be. I can do it when im driving
along and giving it some revs quite happily.
