You very likely have a gas-start option. you may not know how... on my
lovato controller which I have on the ford, you have to hold a button[1] pressed in while turning on the ignition, and wait for it to go click-clunk as it fires the gas system solenoids and shuts them again, then leave go of the button and it starts on gas. The same button, pressed when running, switches between petrol and gas modes. in gas mode, it normally starts on petrol and switches over at a preset revs. further sequences of turning on and off and pressing the button allow you to set the changeover point and also to restore the factory default when you've got it wrong. Austin Shackles. www.ddol-las.fsnet.co.uk my opinions are just that "Quos deus vult perdere, prius dementat" Euripedes, quoted in Boswell's "Johnson". Tried this on my lovato switch, works ok, but the status led constantly flashes red/green once the car's started, why? If I press the button, it switches to petrol, press again & it switches back to lpg with no flashed led. |
