Default 4 star worry

Hi I've got a petrol flatbed transit (pinto) my problem is that most of the
stations locally have stopped selling 4 star which it uses. Can I use lead
free with an additive?

Err.. I'm guessing you are confusing LPG with LRP.

Consult your nearest main dealer for the low-down on your enquiry.
They're usually pretty helpful.

How old is the van? AFAIK you can run an engine for quite a while on
unleaded (about 30,000 miles) before loss-of-compression becomes a problem.

Of course you could fit flashlube, or get a new cylinder head (permanent
fix, but expensive ~£600)
