Hi,
I have an Opel Kadett from 1989 on LPG. Recently it got some problems: - when I drive at a certain speed (sometimes 100 km/h, sometimes 120 km/h) it seems not to get enough fuel and the car starts to shock irregularly. In the past the max speed was 150 km/h and there was no shocking. - changing from LPG to petrol and back is no longer immediate. There are now a few seconds without fuel. Can someone explain to me what could cause this behaviour? Thanks, Wim |

Thanks, Wim I'm no expert (others here are) but it sounds like either (in this order of likelyhood): Blocked fuel filter in the LPG line or Vapouriser clagged up with 'Heavy ends' (The oily stuff left behind as LPG evaporates) or Vapouriser needs service kit or Cooling lines to or in vapouriser blocked (although this wouldn't cause the switchover problem) That's my two penn'orth.
