Hi
I have a 98 Ford Galaxy 2.3 with plastic (or similar) inlet manifold and multi-point petrol injection. It does 22mpg on that awful petrol stuff and I desperately want to fix it (i.e. get it running on gas). As with most people this is for cash reasons (oh and the environment and all that sort of stuff) and hence I want to fit a system that is sufficient without going overboard. At the moment I've received quotes for DIY kits ranging from £350 to £1100 for a simple mixer style through to the Dream 21 kit. Has anyone any recommendations for the best supplier based on cost/quality and on which type of system to fit? Once it is alll fitted, I will need certification for my insurers. Has anyone had any problems with getting a DIY kit certified or with an insurance company withdrawing cover? Hope the above questions are not too general. Cheers Chris |
