LPG Stalls on braking by PG
Hi to all, I've just picked up my second LPG vehicle, and it runs fine on petrol, but when it comes to running on LPG, it is good on long journeys, but round town, it seems to stall whenever you let it idle or apply the brakes, for instance, at traffic lights. It's over 2 weeks until the LPG specialist I use can look at it, so I thought I'd have a look around for some tips. Thanks in...

Smelly LPG Jag by Jonathan[_3_]
Well, I have just bought an already converted Jaguar XJ8 3.2 privately. The car runs brilliantly and is a wonderful ride but there is a strong smell of fuel (which I presume is gas) in the boot all the time where the tank is. When the car is left overnight this smell is also in the passenger cabin. When driving the car with windows closed and aircon on you can't smell anything but if you...

BIGAS Injector Rail by Steve Shuttleworth
Anyone ever had problems with Bigas solenoids failing? Car's been running a bit raggy for a few days lately (rough at idle on gas), but today it cut down to 3 cylinders on my way home. When I looked into the problem, I found one of the solenoid valves had broken in to 2 pieces (the bit inside which moves up and down). They're high speed solenoids (whatever that means) and they're fitted to...

MOT advisory question by dean clayton
My car's just failed the MOT & the garage is going to rectify the failure & retest. There were also some advisories (front brake pads, discs & bad earth on rear light), which I've rectified myself. When they retest & issue a certificate, can these advisories be removed from the new certificate, as they've been corrected?

2005 Vauxhall Corsa woes by Ian Hatten
Just looking for some advice here. Car is a 2005 Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 with 67,000 miles on the clock, factory fit LPG system. A few weeks ago when I started it on a cold morning it was not running well and the "Exhaust Emission" warning light flashed a few times and then stayed on, I had managed to cover about 1/4 mile, thought it might be dual fuelling so switched over to petrol. Restarted...

I do wish people would stop trying to perpetuate this crap! Don't you would think if we could cut our fuel bills by half for a low outlay we'd all be doing it by now! Charity Organisation & Biodiesel ???? by My Name
Hi, Could anyone please tell me why there is not charity organizations being setup selling BioFuels? #1 As it being a charity this would stop the high taxes being sold on the fuel as it is not profit making (yet for non commercial usage). #2 Would allow commercial users of oils (e.g. Restaurants etc) to be able to donate their used oil FREE instead of heavy costs of waste removal

Cheapest European installation by eezlivin@googlemail.com
Due to the high price of petrol, I note large engined cars are suffering heavy depreation so therefore a bargain can be had until you hit the pumps of course. So natrually LPG would equal the balance, however it takes so long to pay for its self in the uk there is little point, as depreation eats away at savings. so does anyone know the different prices for installations in different countries...
