Alternative radiator for Vitesse? by Willy Eckerslyke
Dazzled by the lights of a car waiting to leave a side turning, I managed to plow into a flood last night at about 40mph. The fan lost a few vanes into the radiator so I need a replacement in a hurry. My choice seems to be 125 quid or so plus surcharge plus a couple of days for carriage or a trawl around the local scrapyard to find something that can be made to fit. Anyone had any luck...

Please help! Front coil-spring replacement by simon
I am struggling to replace the front coil-springs on my '69 Pontiac GTO. I followed the workshop manual for the procedu To remove the coil I disconnected the lower control arm from the chassis, and lowered the control arm down with a floor jack. That worked ok, although it was not as safe as I would have liked. Getting the spring back in is proving a total b*****d. The spring compressors I...

Which Master cylinder is this? by Martin
I'm trying to identify a master cylinder on my old kit car without too much success. It's a 5/8 Girling with integral metal fluid reservoir. It's single circuit as well. Any idea what these might have come off of? Any idea how I might identify it? Cheers, Martin.

78 Olds Cutlass Salon 4DSD - value? by Howard Davis
This blue beauty was bought new, has only about 35,000 miles on it, and has been kept in an indoor garage. Runs great and has no body damage or corrosion. V-6 engine, auto transmission. Any idea what it's worth? What would you pay for it?

brake problem: right diagnose? by robwill2@nospam.wxs.nl
Hi all, On my Rover P4 I have encountered the following problem with the brakes: one front brake (disc brake) keeps on when not applying pressure on the pedal any more... On a longer run today I did smell something wrong; after stopping there was al light haze of smoke coming from the right wheel arch, and the wheel disc was warm (compared to the other ones).

Removing window tint? by Timo Geusch
I'll be looking at a Mazda RX-7 Elford Turbo either this or next weekend. From the photos the car appears to be in reasonable condition, with one exception - the Essex wide-boy window tint. Personally I don't like these tints, especially as they send a certain message to the onlookers that I'm not too keen on. So, the question is - does anyone know if it's possible to remove the tint (a)...

Mk3 Escort/ Triumph (Mini) Alternator Swap? by Stuffed
It's windy, it's raining, and I don't feel like doing the job.. But... A mk3 Escort 1.3 estate I sold a friend a couple of months ago appears to have a dead alternator... As I found when I was called out to go help him get home. He's got a diesel Fiesta sat doing nothing, but the alternator won't fit. However, I've got a spare Lucas 45a one sat on a Triumph 1300 engine that's not in a car...
