Dismantling VDO instruments? by
Mark S.
I've got two VDO units, a clock and a temp gauge included with some
other spares for a car.
They look in good condition apart from the black bezel on the outside,
the paint has bubbled off one due to some corrosion and is worn and
the other worn the same.
Is it possible to take the bezels off to refinished them?
I don't want to butcher them by going at them without knowing how they

FS: Nice BGT by
Jon Tilson
We have a very nice BGT for sale and I wonder what the consensus is as to
the best place to advertise same. Its a rubber bumper in Green with orange
stripey seats (sounds hideous but looks cool) Wolfrace wheels and the
obligatory stainless exhaust and will be sold with a full MoT. We are
looking for around 1800 quid. Leave a message if any interest.

Handbrake cable ends you can fit yourself ? by
samba-lee
Hi,
On the saga of shortening the handbrake cable I've seen new threaded
ends than can be held to the cable with grub screws but have no idea
where to get them from ? I-m sure they must be easy to get. AA man
fitted one to my car once to replace the clutch cable in a breakdown.
thanks in advance.

Classic Trucks - Bedford RL & Commer TS3 by
Icarus
Hi
Have a look at these great photos of a Bedford RL. Feedback and
comments welcome, but can't tell you where it is.

Also there was a Commer TS3 at the Irish Festival Parade in
Manchester. Look down the page and you will find it.

Workshopmanual / Triumph TR3A? by
Michael Nørgaard Andersen
Do any of you have any recommendations regarding a proper workshop manual
for a TR3A? I need it for general maintainance, brakes etc. - not ground up
restorations.
Thanks!
Br,
Michael

Here's one for the skeptics! by

$90 seems a little steep for what looks like a simple magnet, which it
appears is all this is (having seen one close to). My guess is that if
they
were as good as they claim to be then every automotive manufacturer would
put them on as standard for the emissions savings alone... But I'd love...

(followup) Car museums in UK/carspotting? by
Spitfire 1500
(too many replies to reply to 1 thread)
I'd like to thank everyone for replying. I found out through all sorts of
trip prep hell I'll be in Bidford-on-avon. That
for me was hard to find on maps. But it was either that or a B&B almost
within walking distance to Glasgow. Looks like I'll be seeing things way
beyond London in the UK for the 8 nights I'l be there (apr. 6-14th)
Thanks to the person...
