MGB original 1974 hood/ information wanted by
B. Marques
Dear all,
I am looking for an original MGB 1974 hood.
The ones I found for sale on MG clubs around Britain have a cotton
fibre material on the inside.
This has nothing to do with the one we have in our car, which has
vinyl material both on the inside and on the outside.

Aftermarket steering wheel hub required... by
MrT
.... for a '69 FD Victor (same kit as Chevette, according to Astrali's
website).
I only need the hub (almost any hub will do), but if you want me to buy a
whole wheel, fair enough.
Any offers?

about austin metro (yes, no classic yet ;-)) by
robwill2@nospam.wxs.nl
Hi old-tin-worms,
Permit me to ask about the Austin Metro here..
I can buy a Metro from 1990 (Jet Black) with about 110000 km's and an
1.3 engine /4 speed, with a reasonable body for an (asking) 400 Euro's
over here..
A few years ago I made a test drive in quite the same model (the
earlier one with the small headlamps), an appreciated the go-kart

Vx Ventora FE vs. Rover P6 by
Sean
Hello,
I can't decide! I'm planning to buy a 30+ yr old car as a daily driver
(about 4k miles a year). Currently trying to decide between a '72 Vx
Ventora manual and a Rover P6 3500 (auto or manual).
I haven't driven any of the cars yet... the Ventora is cheaper to buy
and rare (why?), but I have read that they are no great shakes to drive
and they use tankerloads of fuel.
The Rover got COTY,...

Restoring a stainless steel luggage rack by
Mike Flaherty
Hello,
I bought on eBay an original 6-slat luggage rack for my '78 Spitfire.
The rack is in very good condition, slightly pitted and oxydized.
What's the best technique to restore a stainless steel luggage rack ?
Thanks.
Mike

What branch of car is this by
Joep ©
Hi there,
there is so far no one who can help me, maybe here it's possible, and someone
knows.
I do own an old picture of my grandparents house,
http://home.hccnet.nl/j.buijsen the photo was taken in september of 1949
In front of their house are some people which are not familiar to me, only my
father 2. from right, and my grandma 1. from right.
