Dear all,
I'm trying to find the colour name that belongs to the

Any suggestions on where to search?
Thanks,

A triumphal day by
DocDelete
Just thought I'd mention this...
Just took the Triumph 2.5 pi to work today after using the wife's Clio and
my hack Scirocco for some weeks. (A long story).
It was fu...sorry, bloody excellent! Especially the bit at the petrol
station where a fellow customer applauded the retention of Lucas PI - and I
managed to give him a bit of wheel spin off the forecourt. Hoohar. ;-)))))

Less steep ramp stands available? by
Michael Kilpatrick
Does anybody know of a brand of wheel ramps that are suitable for cars
with lower ground clearance or with a deep chin spoiler, such the SD1
Vitesse?
I had some ramps some time ago but their angle was too steep - the chin
grounded on the ramps before the front wheels got there. I've yet to see
a brand of ramp that is appropriate. Any ideas?

Timber flat-pack garages? by
Adrian
All,
In the back of any of the classic car mags, there's a selection of ads for
flat-pack timber garages.
As the timber single garage we currently have is rather past tense, I'm
currently thinking about alternatives.
The current garage is roughly 18' x 12', rough clad on a square section
frame, with a steeply pitched tiled roof.

Tax and insurance on multiple cars by
David Balfour
For the last two years I've been using my 1978 Triumph Spitfire as my only
transport, using it every day to commute to work and the like. Needless to
say, this type of use has taken its toll and the Spit is now requiring work
which will probably keep it off the road for several months. I am looking
for a another car to drive around as everyday transport.
I have an offer from my dad to use...

Ford Taunus P4 by
Howard Rose
Just bought a Blaupunkt Frankfurt radio on eBay Germany (for my
Beetle) and the radio faceplate it came with is apparently for a Ford
Taunus P4. What on earth is it?!?
Pictures I have found look rather like a Ford Cortina/Granada mixture.
Did we ever get a similar car in the UK?
Just curious really... :-)

Fitting windows by
cornelp@xtra.co.nz
Does anyone have any advice, hints or tips, regarding fitting window
seals. The rear window (curved perspex) seal on my MGB hardtop has
past it's use-by date. A windcreen repair place removed it, discovered
that the rubber seal that had would not fit, so replaced the window
with the old seal. It blew out at 50mph the next day (fortunately not
hitting anyone or getting run over) so when I obtain a...

Hi all,
I'm trying to track down some add-on lamps for a custom application -
side/indicator units, ultrasmall square clear or red lamps etc.
So far I've tried

Cortina Mk1 by
EP
Seriously thinking of trying to find a Mk1 Cortina, for a restoration
project... don't have a huge budget (£500!) but dont want anything thats too
pretty.... its meant to be a project, but would be a benefit if srarted and
stopped... BUT, dont want a complete basket case either.
Not fussed about model, but dont want an estate.
Any opinions, advice or ideas about where i can find such a car...
