Engine Storage by Liam Healy
Hello, The engine and box are coming out of the SD1 next weekend and are going to be stored for a few months. Is there anything I should be doing to prepare them for this (apart from drain them and get the out of the car)? What routine, or perhaps non-routine jobs would you do to them while they were out? Bearing in mind I don't want to upset them too much, if

Finally found my SD1 - but what to keep. by Liam Healy
Hello All, At long last I located a rusty but working '85 3.5, 5 speed SD1 for the MGB conversion project. As most of the conversion stuff I have read is based on that complete drivetrain I went for it rather than the 3.9, plus I know this car runs (although who knows what oily terrors await when I start to examine the lump and box in detail - but that is part of the fun). It also means engine...

Help ID unusual German rescue van by S1500
(BTW, I'm in the states). I was driving down the highway the other morning, and saw a van-like vehicle like no other. It had some funky german name on the front. It was blue, VERY boxy, looks like it was made in the 70s, and was decked out to be some sort of rescue van. I saw equipment in the back, and it had labels alluding to rescuing stranded mountain hikers or something.

Morris Marina Coupe. by speedy
Hi All, I am looking for a 1980 (V reg) 1300cc Morris Marrina Coupe in Sand Glow yellow. I had one as my first car and am now looking for one that is in reasonable condition to take me back to the days when I would spend all my spare time fixing it. Modern cars just don't have that same simplicity and fun in them. Hope sombody can help. John

Dyeing a headliner by Steve Loukes
Has anyone any experience of dyeing a headliner in situ? Is it even feasible? If so what product to use? Mine is well grotty and as replacement is a glass out job wondered if it is worth attempting to dye it black (it was once cream when it was new...) whilst its in place while I save up for the bare metal windows out respray , at which point it can be replaced..... Cheers Steve
