rust treatment by
technical123@hotmail.com
Hello
Has anyone ever had success with specialist rust treatments. In
particular the type you can paint over existing rust. This would be for
parts like chassis or inside doors where you may not need to over paint
them.
So far I have tried granville rust converter & por15 metal ready. Any
better ideas please.
Thanks very much

MK1 Escort Door Locks by
Matt
Hi guys,
Does anyone know where I might be able to find a pair of MK1 Escort Door
lock barrels with keys? Ive tried Ebay but not had much luck as they dont
come up very often and when they do there quite expensive.
If I do manage to get hold of some, how much should I expect to pay?
Cheers,
Matt

The Lost World of Friese-Greene by
:::Jerry::::
Has anyone else noticed the diabolical editing of the present day
narrational inserts in these programmes? Last week we seemed to be
travelling in a 10ft high 1920's Vauxhall when a modern car passed by
the filmed car whilst it was travelling on the filming trailer and
this week the car suddenly changed from being RHD to LHD and driving
on the right (again with modern traffic passing by, also...

Anyone built / bought a "thing" to roll a car shell over? by
Doki
I've seen a couple of websites where people working on shells have fitted it
to a frame (or vice versa) and are able to roll the shell up onto one side
to get access to the underside to underseal it easily. Anyone know who makes
them and if they're extortionately expensive?

FBHVC's Drive-It Day seems to be happening... by
Adrian
Been out for a quick bimble, just a few odds'n'sods locally.
Even though it's wet and miserable and misty, compared to yesterday,
spotted a rather lovely little '30s Aston and a bloody great big traction
engine...

Blatant spam for Mach 7 V8 by
Classic Car Fair
Took this for a drive on Thursday, Lotus 7 rep with a tuned Rover V8.
A lovely warm autumn day in New Zealand, 27 deg C, out in shirtleeves
and sunnies. It races big bikes. 0-60 4 seconds. The thing really goes.

Rover P5B by
Dave Plowman (News)
A semi disabled mate of my brother in Aberdeen has just had an accident in
his much loved P5B. It will need a N/S front wing and door. Where are the
best places to try? And any sort of guide price? I'd describe the car as
top condition 2 and it's valued at 2500.
