Cautious Hello by Fran
Hello. I'm picking up a Hillman Imp soon. Is this the right place to talk about it and to get advice, or do I want some other NG like the mainenance one? I've been lurking a bit and trying to get the feel of this'un, but so far it's eluding me rather.

FS FOC TSSC Courier Mags by Ozzie
Hope the group doesn't mind a FS . I have a collection of Courier Mags. nos. 97 to 269, a few Turning Circles and a couple of indexes. They contain loads of Triumph technical info would be a shame to bin / recycle them. If anyone would like them I'm in the Bristol area for collection or pay postage ( heavy ! ). Chris

Reduce fuel consumption avg. 13%, greenhouse emissions 50-80% and increase power by Dennis Wijers
The EcoMag Activator System is a revolutionary component that can reduce the fuel consumption combustion engines, while at the same time reducing greenhouse gas emissions and giving your engine more power. By reorganising the molecular distribution of the fuel and air intake into the engine using a magnetic charge, the Ecomag Activator helps the engine run more economically, while also...

Car covers by Doki
Where can I get a cheap car cover? Preferably something like cotton, rather than synthetic, as it's only to be put over a car that's indoors, and big enough for an XJ.

removing Wing mirror on Morris Traveller by Gordon
I thought it was just a case of unscrewing the fixing nut underneath the wing - this mirror has some sort of plastic tubing projecting down from the nut, which doesn't seem to move. The nut won't unscrew because of this tubing, and the mirror arm is sprung to the mount, so any force on that just "unsprings" it. can any one help me on how to remove this mirror from this very meagre...

How to remove Spitfire 1500 oil sending unit by googlegroups@triumphpc.com
I have two questions re the removal of the oil sending unit (located below the distributor on the side of the engine block) for a Spitfire 1500: 1) Is there a special tool required? 2) Do you need to remove all of the components on the side of the engine (e.g., distributor, air pump, fuel pump, etc.) to get a tool around the oil sending unit?

Wanted - Midget oil/water guage by Bob Sherunckle
Does anyone have one of the combined oil pressure / water temperature guages as seen in midgets and, I believe, MGBs. Strictly no electricity involved in this one. (If you've seen it, you'll know what I mean). Anyway, if anyone has one for sale, please let me know - I'm searching for an old friend who has just discovered electricity and t'internet is a strange place to him. Cheers

American models of British Classics by RichardK
Not very on topic, so I invite people to search for 'em (seller id: richardk66). When I was in the states a while back, I bought a little set of models of British sportscars - MGB Roadster, MGA 1500, Triumph TR3A and Austin Healey Sprite (my favourite of them). They weren't marketed in the UK, were made by Johnny Lightning models, and were part of the British Invasion series. The ones I got...

Range Rover gearbox into a Series Landy? by Willy Eckerslyke
Possible? Easy? Don't even think about it? I know there are dedicated Land Rover forums out there, but you lot seldom let me down. The story so far.. Local garage accepted my offer of 150 quid for a rusty Range Rover they have fitted...
