Hello, This year, there was an exhibition of classic cars during "le mondial de l'automobile 2006" in Paris. It was called "l'incroyable collection" ! And, it was.... incredible !! ;-) I just add on my website about 30 photos of this show : http://arrrnob.free.fr/ (gallery = mondial de l'automobile 06) Regards.

Woolies leather restoration kit. by Dave Plowman (News)
I've got one and have made a start, and so far, so good - the results are fine. But some parts have two tone leather and no mention is made of how to mask in the instructions even although I obviously sent samples of both colours, and they've supplied two dyes. I'll give them a ring tomorrow, but wondered if anyone knew? -- *The older you get, the better you realize you were. Dave Plowman ...

FS: Sunbeam Talbot 90 DHC and Morris Oxford MO by Ian
Hi Folks, I've been asked by a friend to investigate selling her late husband's two classic cars. One's a 1954 Sunbeam Talbot 90 convertible. Utterly solid and rust free - it lived in Rhodesia - but needs a new hood and a respray. A good condition 2-and-a-bit. The others a 1952 (from memory) Morris Oxford Series MO Saloon - that's

Garage vs Car Cover by georgina Smith
I am thinking of laying up my 1981 Ford Minster Limousine for the winter. I can either leave it out in the cold with a breathable cover over it or put it in the leaky damp garage. Which is better do you think? Is it better off outside where it has air flow or inside where it wont get rained on directly. Cheers.

Keeping warm in an open car with no heater? by Dave Plowman (News)
I can just about remember in the '50s my father - who sold trucks - driving Albion chassis from Glasgow where they were built to Aberdeen for a special body to be fitted. Just a bare chassis - no cab or even windscreen. And no special clothing even in the winter - just layers topped with a greatcoat. Trilby hat and scarf round the face. Being forward control there would have been some heat from...

Keeping warm in an open car with no heater? by Mike P
Hello All, Thought I'd ask this question as some classic owners might have a good answer :-) I'm driving a DRK Trojan 3 wheeler Morgan rep out to Athens next week. It has no heater. It has a roof, but it's a soft one with plastic side windows so you can't really see much when it's up, and nothing if it rains as it has no wipers either .

FS. 1985 Rover SD1 Vitesse. by Mike G
In Billingshurst W Sussex. A very original, low mileage, straight car. No MOT or tax. Quick sale required. (lost my rented garage) Non runner. Last started over a year ago. Believed fuelling fault. Verry little rust. Only a little work required to pass MOT. Certainly needs a new centre exhaust box. If interested Email for further details, and make me an offer. Mike.
