Fade-out interior lights in classics ? by Lee Griffiths
We just bought a *new* family can and I've gotta say that I enjoy the gadgets it has such as fade out interior lights. So when you close the door the light(s) stay on for say 10 seconds then fade out. I want them on my old cars! Anybody attempted this as I guess you can rip the components from a modern car ? and/or anyone seen a kit available for this ? Lee

The only Christmas miracle today was I found a pin wrench that can unscrew those 3 cylinders on the bottom of...

Daimler V8 engine by David
I have a Daimler V8 automatic. The engine is in need of reconditioning. I have been offered a reconditioned Daimler V8 engine but from a manual car. Will I be able to just fit the auto box onto a the new engine by swapping the auto box, adaptor plate, torque converter and housing etc, or will the end of the crank be different. Any ideas. Thanks David
