Fckn Arsebandits. by
Conor
So, doing the engine swap on my Capri. The engine I bought off Ebay as
a bog standard Pinto turns out to be a 205 block injection once I take
the inlet manifold off which, even nicer, has a 38DGV carb on. I've got
all the gaskets/belts etc and everything I think I need as this is
"Christine" I'm talking about so I reckon I've got all bases covered.
There's nothing that I've not got covered....

sfvisbf soapbox racing by
rev106
Greetings,
Several for my friends and I have started an outlaw soapbox racing
league called the San Fernando Valley Illegal Soapbox Federation. An
extreme sport that's extremely stupid for sure, but loads of fun.
Please visit the links below to view our video footage, check them all
out, it's worth your time.
Thanks for your time.

torque is cheap, though probably an expensive repair... by
georgina Smith
Hi.
My 1981 Ford Granada 2.8 Auto came home on a tow truck yesterday. The
gearbox lost all drive, though by the time the RAC arrived an hour later
some drive had been restored. The gearbox oil is a grubby brown colour and
the car can just about move for a few yards before drive is lost again.
Am I right in thinking that this points to either low gearbox oil level,
failure of the torque...

Classic Car dealers by
TS
Hi,
I am going to the Classic car show in London (Alexandra Palace) on 23rd
February. I will be in and around London and want to spend the day visiting
a few classic car dealers.
Any recommendations?
I am not keen on the posh dealers in central London (Chelsea cars etc.), but
more normal type cars. I know there are a few South of London just outside
M25. I dont mind driving a bit to see...

Rolls Royce Silver Shadow/Spur/Sprit advice by
unit244@defencecontracts.org.uk
Hi,
I am considering a Silver Shadow or Silver Spur/Sprit as my next car,
and wondered if any owners on here could answer some, Rolls-Royce
newbie questions.
Firstly, I have noticed the (in the UK where I am) that there isn't
much difference in the prices of Shadows and Spur/Sprits. I was
wondering why this is? As I would have expected the Spur/Sprits to be
higher, as they are newer. So is...

Electric Cars at the American International Auto Show by
Stella
They're going electric in the Motor City, Detroit -- well, maybe not
just yet.
But it made for a nice "buzz" as the world auto industry gathered at
one of its premier events, the North American International Auto Show,
with gas-electric hybrids and even "plug-in" electric cars all the
rage.

Wheels for Reliant Scimitar SE4 Coupe by
TB
Hi
I have recently re-brought a 1967 Reliant Scimitar SE4 Coupe (V6 3
litre engine) which I used to own in the late 1970's. Originally the
car would have had Pressed-steel disc, 4-stud fixing, 5.5in wide rim
wheels, with tyres size 165-15in.
It now has some more modern looking wheels which I would like to
replace. Does anyone know what other cars of that time had the same
wheels? I was...
