Classics out and about by
Willy Eckerslyke
Probably related to the season, but it's been nice seeing so many
classics on the road over the last few weeks, including:
Daimler 2.5 V8
Rover P4 (not sure about the sand over orangey-mud colour scheme)
Herald
E-type
TR6
TR3
Rover P4 "Cyclops"
Volvo Amazon (going like hell on A55 past Conwy!)

practical classic? by
CMiller
As original engines (i.e. Triumph's V8) can be made reliable these days,
alternative engine will seriously damage market value!!!
However I rate the Rover engine as being just as god in the car as the
original and have one as such. The big advantage (for me) is that it would
be relatively easy and cheaper to replace should something go wrong. There
is a fair bit of knowledge about the conversion...

I've set up a website selling hand built 1/43rd scale car models
(including classic cars obviously) and to avoid annoying people I
thought I'd check this group's position on advertising.
The FAQ says that short adverts are acceptable, but are scale models

looked at the pics, come on , don't take the mikey, book an appointment to
see an optician ASAP :-)

am looking for a new "Eaton" oil pump, the car club I belong to recommends
the high pressure variety? I know there is a pattern pump made by a company

Wanted - Alfa 33 series 3 16v by
Rev. Alfa Adam
I'm looking for an series 2 Alfa 33 16v 1.7 to help my car live (a lot)
longer.
Does anyone have one of these, maybe one thats rusty as a rusty thing, that
I can buy - I'm in need of a good engine and front suspension as well as a
passenger seat (white/red diamonds pattern) and an aerial assembly.
I know that it isn't quite a classic car yet but I love my alfa, but really
can't run to brand new...
