Is there anything else I can do to improve the cooling? I've read that
installing a bigger radiator could help. Is there any way of getting more
air over the existing radiator? Any suggestions would be gratefully
recieved.
Hi Pete,
The small radiator was introduced in the late...

First thing to do is to check the radiator really is flowing freely. I'd
get a radiator specialist to check it - the fins can be pretty clocked up
internally.

Mercedes wipers not working - why? by
Sean
The wipers gave up on my W123 during a heavy downpour - the plastic cup
broke up (previously damaged?) that holds the wiper arm-motor mechanism
to the wiper arm mechanism. So I fixed that with parts off my spares
car.
After reassembly, on trying the wipers they didn't work. When I turned
on the wipers the relay ticked loudly like it was sticking. So I changed
the relay, then changed the wiper...

seen Jaguar 420 for sale *at a price* by
robwill2@nospam.wxs.nl
Hi,
On a yard near to me I saw a Jaguar 420 (1967) offered for Euro
19,000!
That would make about UKP 12,000
I admit, the car was in a nice fashion, but isn't this a horrible
price??
Looking in PC's list, they mentioned about the half of that...

borg warner 35 auto help by
cjbeddows
Hi, I have a 1974 Scimitar with the above auto box. I have quite a
fast oil leak from somewhere, which seemed to appear after a kick
down. Now I know nothing about auto boxes so it will likely go to a
gearbox specialist, but I wondered if there was any helpful advice out
there?
The box was reconditioned in April 2002 by the previous owner (I have
bills to prove it). Having crawled under the...

dent removal by
robwill2@nospam.wxs.nl
Hi,
On telly I saw a 'new' technique on dent removal on cars, using
special shaped 'sticks' to push the dent out from behind.
Aimed is to prevent new spraying and being more costeffective.
Where the panel could not be reached from behind, they 'glued' one ore
more pads on the dented area and pulled the dent out with a puller
device.

Vintage Rolls Royce by
JP Kabala
I was driving around and I caught some photos of a
vintage Rolls---(unfortunately, not in fantastic condition)
I'd love to know what model/year it is---
I know beautiful when I see it, but I'm a car dunce.
Because of the condition, most of the shots I took are
of the artsy-fartsy variety (the side and rear are damaged,
and two of the tires were flat.)
but I do have one head on that might be...
