Old Car Idenification. by Classic Car Fair
"Allan Wood." wrote: Hi to you all. Just hope that I am not doing the wrong thing. I have got a photograph taken in Bradford some time prior to 1937. It is a street scene and has several cars in it, one of these looks to me as if it must have been quite a machine in its day. I have not had any luck so far in finding out just what it is, despite help from friends in Bradford....

The Tacho is a small silver block, about 3x2x1 with a green LED display and buttons on the front for changing between the clock and tacho as well as being able to set the clock. The Tracker is a little bigger with 2 LCD displays, the first seems to show the...

Alternator type LRA101 by Ian Winter
Hi. My car is listed as fitted with a Lucas 17ACR alternator. The alternator fitted at some point in the cars life is marked as a LRA101. Looking on the net some sources say the LRA101 has 34 amp output, which I believe to be equivelent to the 16ACR, whilst others say it has a 43 amp output which is equivelent to the 17ACR. Can anyone confirm which is really is? I'm looking to upgrade the...
