Agreed Valuation Insurance by
MG
Hi
I need to find another company offering Agreed Valuation Insurance. I
have used ClassicLine for nearly 10 years, but not happy anymore. Who
is offering competitive rates, good policies and not too much
beaurocracy when agreeing the valuation??
Cheers

Repossessed cars by
Just Dial Cheap
Does anyone know what the quality of repossesed cars are? The below site
sells really cheap cars that they claim are HPI checked and lawfully
aquired. Are this cars safe to buy? Has anyone had any experience with such
cars? They have over 1300 cars in their backyard so it's not some guy
running it from his front garden.

Any feedback would be much appreciated.

Anyone know anything about Gilberns? by
undercover elephant
Ullo all
I've got my eye on a Mk3 invader, but I don't know much about them.
I presume that engines and running gear not usually a problem for spares,
but more obscure parts like interior fittings can be more of a problem.
Did they suffer from chassis rot problems? Are they any good on the road,
in terms of handling?

Number plates by
Dave
Can any one tell me what is the correct style of number plates for a 1970
car. Mine had the black and silver plastic but they don't look right. Should
they be the pressed alloy type white and yellow. Also does any one know the
best place to buy them.
Thanks

Valuation needed... by
Pete M
'71 De Tomaso Pantera, MINT, one owner from new, left hand drive, unmodded,
owned by engineer enthusiast from new. Not sure of mileage, but the car is
*right* and there can't be many of them around like this. Proper chrome
bumper early dashboard one. Just need an indication of value if you'd be so
kind.
Ta.

Lotus Europa by
Zippy
Hello, I'm considering ditching my modern characterless car for
something that has a personality. I don't have a lot of money and my
mechanical skills are basic. I really like the idea of restoring a lotus Europa (a dream
car from my youth). Does anyone have an experience of this car they could
kindly share with me.
Thanks for your time.

retro radio query by
DocDelete
Does anyone know of any modern car radios that happen to have that elusive
retro look. I'm thinking 60s/70s - twin silver knobs, analogue tuner but
perhaps with FM and maybe a cassette player - perhaps there's even a model
out there that has CD/MP3 functionality.
I vaguely recollect there being a place that retrofits FM to old radios but
this isn't /quite/ what I'm after and I've heard it's...
