It's running 205/85R16's with police-spec heavy duty suspension.
Bigger tyres would fill the arches a bit better, but the existing
tyres have loads of tread on them yet.The suspension sits about 1"
higher than 'normal' and about 2-3" higher than a RR of that age on
saggy original springs. The rear Boge levelling unit is still fitted,
it actually corners better than normal. It's a great improvement from
16-year old springs which were on it.

A friend of mine has a kitted-out RR with a 2.5" lift and running
265/65 (IIRC) and that is very roll-y round corners

Mustard mitt, I don't understand why people put lifts etc on Range Rovers.

I did the Wayfarer in mine (235/70/16s) on standard height suspension and
had zero problems, but some of the Rangies I was in convoy with were having
issues even though theirs had raised suspension and huge tyres. I suspect
they thought that the suspension mods made them invincible, when it just
made them more likely to cock it up and damage the vehicle they'd spent
money on trying not to damage.

I wouldn't do anything much hairier than the Wayfarer unless it was
absolutely necessary, so for me the standard Range Rover suspension is
ideal.

Having said that, mine had the Boge unit removed and Monroe Gasmatics +
compressor fitted when it was new, maybe that helped but I can't see how.

If that's all you can post, repeatedly, you're obviously the know-nothing
****** I originally suspected you of being. Thank you for the confirmation.

Oh, you're the first cretin to ever make it into my Bozo-bin.
