Hi
I have a mate with a Morris MO and have been out in it several times, I have also driven it. I would say that the car is typical of a 1950s car and this is all part of the charm. It can easily keep up with modern traffic and I found the steering to be positive. I would say if it is in good condition why not buy it. Regards "Kneewax" wrote in message ... Hi, I have been a lurker here for a while, I have a question about the Oxford Mo, I have seen one on ebay and have always fancied one of therse, I wondered anyone knows whether this would be a good buy or not? I have emailed the seller but his advise may not be impartial ![]() http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...tegory=31 361 I live about 80 miles away from the seller so will go down a view it before I bid, can anyone tell me good things to look out for. Thanks KneeWax |

They were thought sluggish when new. The steering is nice though, but then so is something like a Z series Magnette, which *will* keep up with modern traffic ok. -- *Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine. The Magnette is in a different league, although just about a contemporary. And I've driven both. I owned a Magnette for years, and a pal had an Oxford. -- *Income tax service - We‘ve got what it takes to take what you've got. Dave Plowman London SW 12 RIP Acorn |
