my Ford 302? Plenty about in the US but haven't found many places in the UK. Cheers, Dan |

Hi Mark,
I have a '78 302, as you probably know these are one of the lowest performance 302's around. Basically I'm looking to improve as much as possible without spending a fortune. I reckon my best bet would be a set of E7TE heads (fitted to early 90's 302's I believe). Hopefully I can find a ported set somewhere. I'd love to go for brand new HP heads but don't think I can afford it really. If you happen across any or know any good places to try please let me know! It's depressing to browse ebay.com and see how many are on offer but the shipping to the UK is ~$300 . Cheers, Dan "Mark Craft" wrote in message ... Dan, what exactly do you want ? high performance ally heads ? just plain original ones ? flowed original ones ? stock ones with big valves installed (chevy valves in ford heads a popular conversion ) ? Always keep an eye on ebay... "Dan" wrote in message news ![]() Anyone got ant idea where I might be able to find a decent set of heads for my Ford 302? Or, pack an empty bag, get a standby ticket to the States, hire a car and
get your heads at a junkyard - probably all for less than the UK price of new heads. -- J Plymouth to Dakar in two Triumph Heralds, yes really! Visit http://www.team-michelotti.org and see how you can help. "Mark Craft" nospamhere.com wrote in message . net... dan place an ad on the aacuk site and www.rodandclassicmart.co.uk and www.nsra.org.uk and www.dooster.co.uk try rodley etc as they will more than likely be able to help. also try originals hot rod co. they might be able to get you something ( look in custom car for an ad, in the classifieds ) could try duksville and reality but I dont think they will have s/h bits www.poppartsplus.co.uk probably worth a try. grab a copy of street machine, there was ads in there for a mustang specialist ( was doing mainly 60s cars ) but he might be able to help. Have a gander through Custom Car too... Why not think about a hop up package www.usatuo.co.uk will have edelbrock performer stuff in stock, get a cam, inlet manifold and carb and it should pep it up a fair bit. *tip* they give 25% discount for NSRA members on stock items, which will cost you £25 to join.... I know what you mean about parts.. I know a junkyard in the states where any engine you like is $100.. big blocks.. hemis... whatever you find... "Dan" wrote in message ... "MeatballTurbo" wrote in message ... Dan, if you are in the North of England, It's stars and stripes weekend at Tatton park, Knutsford. American cars, Rods and Customs, Bikes, displays, autojumble and trade stands. Today was the first day, and it is open 9am-5pm Tomorrow. Might be worth a looksee, and make some contacts even if you don't find a set there. I'm going to look at the Rods and Customs. -- Carl Robson (The poster formerly known as Skodapilot) http://www.bouncing-czechs.com Unfortunately I'm right down on the south coast (Southampton way) but thanks anyway!
