heater prob by Steve Parry
Hi I have a 2.3 TD LWB Frontera ( K reg) Ever since I've had it I have noticed how poor the heater is, its had a new thermostat but that made no difference. Is there some bleed screw I'm missing to ensure there is no air in the heater matrix or is a poor heater a "feature" of this model?

R-R chassis wanted by Bob Sayers
I'm looking for a Range Rover classic rolling chassis, ideally without engine or gearbox (and preferably one that's been a diesel, as I assume the engine mountings are different?), but with chassis condition and all other components as good as possible. Wheels and tyres are not essential, or could be taken back by the seller. I'm no great rush, but would appreciate from hearing from anyone...

http://sumo.ebid.co.uk/perl/objects/auction.cgi?auction=1070128208-66725-0&mo=auction None of the dreaded tail gate rust, or any other rust for that matter, the number plate can be sold separately (has been valued at £500), or with it, we can haggle about that. The beastie has always started first turn of the key, even when left for a bit, and has not let us down

Have you heard of www.motorflirt.com? Its a brilliant site for meeting people. If you see someone in a car, you can text them a message using their number plate direct to their mobile phone. I met a few birds and took them out for a drink. Check it out, its free You can also search their database and send them a message. The good thing about it, nobody knows who you are, them birds that i met...

XC90, petrol T6 or diesel D5 by YourDaddy
I am lucky enough to be considering buying the Volvo XC90 diesel or petrol models. Was in the dealership today and was impressed by the quality of build and interior, we have arranged to test drive the car on Friday. Most importantly the space inside is massive - needed for the family and dog. The car we will drive on Friday is a D5 diesel, there is no T6 petrol demonstrator (although might be...

Winter Tyres by www.amogen.com
Hi Guys... I am just deliberating over what tyres to get for the coming winter. I am loathed to buy a set for winter and a set for summer, and I don't do that much off-roading. (just the odd farmers field with the caravan every other weekend!!) I am torn between two really, due to the tyre size on my car (245/70/16). The BF Goodrich AT or the Yokohama Geolandar AT. I have had the Yokohama's...

Light Duty Winch by Roger_N_Page
Hi Guys Can anybody recommend a light duty winch to fit my Grand Cherokee Overland 2.7CRD which has a rating of 2500 kg. Also does anyone know of a specialist company that would fit it to my vehicle within say a sixty mile radius of Oxford. Jeep do not advertise an accessory to fit either front or rear of vehicle. Cheers Roger

Discovery ??????????? Which One? by Doug
I have a chance to buy a Land Rover Discovery (things that dreams are made of) I think I want a diesel, auto, 7 seater and have around 10K. Can anyone tell me, what the difference is between the 300 and TDis'. Also it is going to tow a Radical SR3 and trailer (1 ton in total), guess thats ok? Are there any models to look out for or miss, any known issues?
