Able to pull a small caravan (the old wooden 70s ones - pretty light) 3. Climbing / descending dirt tracks, snow, plenty of potholes/mud but

MoT and sills on... by johnh
Suzuki Vitara. Are the sills on a Vitara part of the Mot as its built on a chassis? Basically I found some rot in the inner sill under the vehicle, and was wondering if I need to crack on and sort it before the Mot. The intention is to heavily modify (inc full cage) the vehicle for serious off-road work. TIA

Petrol/Visa scam by Trefor
Regarding the recent News item on credit/debit cards being skimmed at some petrol stations. I always (where possible) use Tesco "pay at pump" for petrol. I have previously thought it wasn't particularly secure as no PIN number is required, but now, it turns out this is a distinct advantage. This type of payment may, of course be available at other petrol outlets. Trefor

Gas Guzzlers Mmm ! by Hirsty's
My thesis had to be based on repeatable real data that argued for itself. Can't see repeatable results for Global Warming; one chance only and then we hit the stone age again. Who once said " no idea what weapons will be used in WW3 but WW4 weapons will be stones, bows, arrows" -- " ..... it is the provenence of knowledge to speak, and it is the privelage

Any 'Devil Pitters' lost a mitsubishi 4x4? by bob
There is a mitsubishi 4x4 parked nearby that has been in exactly the same spot for over a month now, beginning to look like it has been dumped. It's not outside any houses, just parked in the road. The chunky tires, mud splatter and 'devils pit' spare tyre cover suggest it was used for off roading. Registration ending WPT. Anyone recognise it?

new choozer car website by admin
Hi there, I have finally completed (well put it on the internet, but still needs work done to it) a pet project of mine, which is a car related website with its main feature being an informative top-trumps style car comparison feature. The hope is that it will be useful to people looking for and comparing new cars, according to various tech specs. There are other - hopefully - useful things...
