Cherokee tyres advice please!! by RichM
Hi gang Just gone and taken the plunge and bought a 1995 Cherokee 4.0ltr. As it was only £1500 for a one owner low(ish) miles car, im not bothered about an lpg kit as it will only be for playing around in. But the big question is, does anyone out there know of the tallest (not nessarily widest) tyre that i can bung on without looking into suspension mods/lifts? Ideally would like an all terrain...

Odd tyres with Jeep Quadra-Trac by Peter Robinson
Can anyone tell me the likely short/long term effects of driving a JGC with Quadra-Trac with differently worn tyres front and back? I'm looking at buying one but the present owner hasn't changed the tyres all together and it currently has near new ones on front and near worn out ones on the back. It has a FJSH and I'm surprised the dealer didn't tell him about it, or is it less of a problem than...

I found this article online Why not TRY by k
I found this on a bulletin board like this one and decided to try it. Previously I was browsing through a newsgroup, as you are now, and came across an article similar to this that said you could make thousands within weeks with only an initial investment of £5.00! So I thought, this must be a scam but like most of us, I was curious, so I kept reading. Anyway, it said that to join you must...

X-Trail by PoP
I've convinced myself to buy a secondhand X-Trail, probably SVE spec. Likely to be less than 2 years old with some manufacturers warranty left to run, relatively low mileage. Will definitely have the 2.2 diesel motor under the bonnet. Anyone got or had one of these and like to offer an opinion before I part with my cash? PoP

Save our byways! by Rafe Aldridge
Save our byways! As you probably know greenlaning is a hot issue in parliment at the moment. If you want to show your support for keeping byways open to motorised users then please sign the electronic petition at: http://www.saveourbyways.org.uk Obviously this petition is only against one (small) discussion in parliment. Signing it is not a substitute for writing to your MP and following...

Anti scratch finish by roddytoo
Someone at work mentioned an anti scratch paint finish, which is of great interest as we work out in the country and travel in along single track lanes with much undergrowth. Anyone heard of this finish? Chris

Looking for suggestions by Paul S. Brown
Does anybody have a suggestion for helpful and reasonably inexpensive garages in the Amersham/Tring/Aylesbury area who will work on Range Rovers? I've been hunting around and keep on running into a combination of ignorange, willful stupidity and apathy. The standard response is "Take it to the dealer" who I a) don't trust as far as I can throw them and b) refuse to pay £80 per hour for their...
