2005 Amazon????? by
Andy Sargeant
Anyone got any info on the 2005 Toyota Amazon????
Man who works with Toyota told me to "watch this space".
But me thinks this will be a hard one to find out any info on.
Would like to find out when it's available (if at all) then I could be one
jump ahead as I have only just got my new 2004 model.
Andy.

DEATH to all drunk drivers by
joe parkin
In article , says...
I thought the Jews were a race...
Judism is a religion while natives living in Israel are Israelites.
No they're Israelis
The Israelites were a tribe in the old testament
I stand corrected.

Carburettor conversions for SJs by
Lurch
Saw a Hyundai Pony carburettor on ebay last week and thought about
buying it as I seem to remember these were a good substitute for the
horrible Aisan. Anyone had experience, good, bad . . .
Also, anyone remember what the long thread was that contained some
detailed suggestions for fitting and setting up?
Cheers, Lurch

Mitsubishi L200 Double Cab? - is it as good as the Nissan Navara 2.5 double cab? by
Maguires Garage
For the past year or so we've been importing the Mitsubishi and the
Navara for around the same price.
I've been thinking of driving one myself and reckon the Mitsubishi
beats the Nissan hands down on the road.
But I don't know much about driving off the road and that's what I'm
really getting it for - anyone know which is better off the road?

Have you imported a 4x4? by
JohnB
Hello group,
I am seriously considering importing a Japanese 4x4 as I fancy a model not
normally available in UK and I would like to find out your experiences of
the various organizations offering import services both from Japan and from
Europe.
- Who did you deal with and did you have any problems at any stage of the
process?
- Did you import a specific vehicle or did you buy from the...

RAV4 - Exhaust whistle? by
Malcolm Riches
I have just bought a 1996 Toyota RAV4 2lt petrol with 65,000 miles - one
owner.
There is just one problem. When travelling with the revs at around 3000rpm
and then pressing the accelerator there is a high pitched whistle (like a
gas turbine) coming from the rear of the car. When cruising along the noise
can be turned off and on by gently pressing and releasing the pedal.
I have checked the...

Best soft roader for snow by
andy_welch@nospam.com
Hi,
I'm looking for advice on the best soft roader for snowy roads. We are about
to replace our trusty Mazda 323 and are toying with the idea of an SUV. The
main reason being that we live in a small village in rural Aberdeenshire and
for the past six years we have got stuck at least a couple of times a year.
Only once had to be towed out but I'm getting bored of standing in blizzards
and digging...

Hi
Have a look at these great photos of a Bedford RL. Feedback and
comments welcome, but can't tell you where it is.

Also there was a Commer TS3 at the Irish Festival Parade in
Manchester. Look down the page and you will find it.
