Suzuki XL7 - Off Road? by
Clairebear
Hi all
Considering an XL7 for the 7 seats and easy access to the back, but what's
it like off road?
I've read that the std Grand Vitara is pretty good (Land Rover Recovery
Vehicle, someone said!) but with the xtra length would the xl7 be OK?
Looked at a Disco but price and practicality with the extra seats is a
problem. Shogun and Amazon are just toooooo big (and expensive!).

SUZUKI VITARA JX 4 U by
John
Hi all,
I'm looking at a SUZUKI VITARA JX 4 U.
It's "S" reg. and has an asking price of £1750.
Could anyone PLEASE tell me if this seems like a good buy, the underside
looks good with no mud or rust.
Any known faults I should look out for?
I'm not sure if the timing belt has been changed and the car has done

Looking at my hubbies message about Big 4x4's....can anybody advise on

X-Trail recall by
Tom
I bought a new X-trail in April of this year and I've recently had a letter
from Nissan asking me to take it to a dealer to have some engine management
components changed. Anyone know what they are and how serious is it?
(unfortunately I've mislaid the letter).

Dog Guard for Nissan TerranoII by
Ian Pollard
Hi
I have a 2004 Nissan Terrano II and am looking for a floor to
ceiling dog guard that will permit me to drop the rear seats for luggage
etc. It needs to fit independently of any other support. Does anyone
have any idea where I can get such a beast. I don't mind a bit of
drilling to fit it TIA.

UK Nissan pathfinder (2005) by
Hodge
Hi
Anybody out there got any experience towing/living with the new Nissan
Pathfinder.
Thinking of changing cars soon, currently driving a Volvo XC70, excellent
car but after 5 Volvos I just fancy a change.
Any comments appreciated.

'89 Range Rover SE Head Gasket? by
Pete M
LPG Rangie Vogue SE, 3.5 V8
Runs fine, but seems to pressurise the cooling system a bit much, loses
about a litre of coolant a week, temp gauge never rises above about 1/4 and
that's during hard use - towing at speed, for example. Slight misfire when
first started after a day or two (LPG or gas, misfire not a backfire) which
clears within a mile or so.
No oil in water / water in oil /...

1955 Land Rover....any advice? by
stude-ious
There's a '55 short wheel base Land Rover with a "For Sale" sign on it;
just down the road from me. I'm tempted (haven't had one since about
1970). Any advice? Anything in particular I should watch out for? Thanks.

OBD2 Reader by
Trefor
I'm thinking of buying one of these. Around £25 on ebay.
I know nothing at all about them.
Are the more expensive ones that connect to a PC more useful?
I have a '99 ford explorer, and get the Suspension warning light, only when
towing my caravan, and only after about an hour. If I stop and switch off
the engine all OK until about another hour of towing.
Thought maybe a reader might give me...

Air inflatable shocks to adjust ride height ? by
johnh
About 15 - 20 years ago, someone like Monroe produced some shock absorbers
which had a rubber skirt/bellow around it. This could be inflated with a
compressor or foot pump to raise the suspension. They were intended for the
backs of cars, to lift the rear end when towing or heavy loads in the boot.
But some of the guys who built 4x4 specials for trials used them with a
degree of success.
Can...

Traffic needed. Can anyone help? by
Paul King
Hey everyone,
I'd like to ask your advice, or at least the advice of all of you who are either interested in, or already involved in, creating income from the internet.
I'm not exactly experienced in on-line money making, in fact all I've managed so far is money losing! I don't suppose anyone gets it completely right first time so I'm sure you all know what I mean. Probably my failings are due...
