New Navara serious fault! by Tinman
My brand new Navara developed a noise from the rear, possibly wheel bearings. It now sits back at the main dealers and I have been told I will not get it back for at least a 3 weeks! Apparently there is some difficulty obtaining parts. The honestjohn website says this is a known fault on the new Navara. Just wondered if any other new Navarra owners have experieneced the same fault and what the...

Free mags - loads by ExtremeOffRoader
I'm having a clearout. I have piles of 4x4 mags, free to anyone who wishes to collect. They're mostly about 10 - perhaps 20 years old. Just the job to see what your bashed up trialer or cherished 4x4 looked like when new LOL. I'm on the Herefordshire/Gloucestershire boarder near the M50 at Much Marcle mail me via happycouple6000 (funny squigle) yahoo (spot) com

advice sought on buying a high mileage P38 Rangie by ags
Hi there, I'm new to this newsgroup and would be grateful if anyone could give me some practical tips before I make a final decision about buying an M plate Range Rover 4.0 SE. It's for sale in my local dealers at what seems a very reasonable price (below £5K) but my concern is that it's done 176,000 miles. One of the attractions of this Rangie is that it's already been LPG'd. I'll be...

Ssanyong musso by Errol
Hi Does anyone know if the ECU from a 2.3 petrol Merc is compatable with the Ssangyong Musso 2.3 Petrol. I know the engines are the same and that Ssangyong did their own thing with the ECU, but at £1000 for a new one and not many second had ones about, it is a bit much. Errol

OT FS here or FA, Honda powered pressure washer. OT by Paul - xxx
Going on ebay today with the following description. "Wesley Storm 110P pressure washer. Low start, no reserve. Almost new condition, only used a few times. This unit has been very well looked after and has been stored indoors since new. It has an ultra-reliable Honda 5.5 Hp 4 stroke engine that runs on unleaded fuel, so no messing with 2 stroke oils. It's a versatile bit of kit, the...

Get Out Of My Car! by Lynn
Watch this little old lady get her car back from a bunch of thugs! I wouldn't be surprised if this hasn't happened already in some of the more self-reliant areas of our Country. (Sorry, this doesn't include Kerry or Kennedy Country.) But alas, it is pure fantasy here - it appears that the video was made in the UK or Australia - places where owning a any type of self defense weapon is against the...

Range Rover Immobiliser Part Number by chris@chrisallmark.com
I read that the latest part number for the immobiliser reciever is YWY500010, but when I went to the dealers on Saturday & tried to order, he insisted that ASR1953 was the latest part number, which was the opposite of what I understood. Can anyone confirm which is the latest (& therefore less likely to lock me out of the car) part number? Cheers, Chris.

Isuzu 3.0DT reliability? by Tim \(remove obvious\)
Anyone had experiences of the famed 160bhp 3.0DT in the Isuzu's? I know they can suffer seemingly at random and without warning injector failure and engine run-away & grenading, but how common is it and has anyone had it happen to them? There was a recall for modded injectors and turbo's to be fitted to earlier cars, did this fix the problem or can it still happen? Can I tell from looking under...

Tree hugger on J.Vine show. by RT
Some stupid tree hugging bint is on the Jeremy Vine show boasting about putting 100,000 bogus parking tickets entitled "Poor Vehicle Choice" on 4X4 vehicles just because they don't like them. What a complete waste of paper, talk about Kettle, Pot & Black! Why don't they put them on under used buses that take up a whole lane in most city streets? Brainless morons!
