Dodge Ram 2500 SLT Laramie by Matthew Millichap
Any ideas on whether these are any good as a general use vehicle with occasional heavy duty towing? I know there's fueel economy issues - the one I'm looking at is a 5.9 Cummins TD manual. Any hints, tips etc on what to look for would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks

tyre sizes by David Harvey
I have just noticed today that the front tyres on our 2001 5 door Suzuki Grand Vitara are 235 70 16 while the rears are 235 60 16. Apart from the fact that the spare would only be the same as one axle, could this be what caused our transfer box to be faulty? ( see previous post) I presume the correct size is the smaller tyre, as the front tyres rub on full lock.

Rover question of the year! by TimD
I'm not very good with UK car problems so here is why I am perplexed. My daughter has a 1988 Range Rover. The other day, for no apparent reason, it died in the driveway. I checked to find no fuel pressure. I checked the fuse panel. Nothing blown. I checked the relay. It clicks when the key is turned on. I checked the inertia sensor but can't figure out how it is supposed to work. I...

Daily Record bigotry by Geoff Lane
http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/opinion/columnists/lifestyle/joanburnie/# is a link to an offensive article in the Daily Record of 24 March, which I found inaccurate and so complained to the Press Complaints Commission (http://www.pcc.org.uk/) The tone of her article is full of prejudice and bigotry and seems intent on stirring social hatred. IMO, she needs an ASBO slapped on her ASAP. The...

Maverick/Terano ABS fault. by Peter Lander
Maverick/Terano ABS fault. I have a developing fault on my Maverick. A month a go whilst driving, we would here a pumping sound come from under the bonnet and it would run for a couple of seconds. This has now become more frequent, still only for a couple of seconds, and developed to a point where I am getting the ABS action through the brake pedal under light braking on tarmac surfaces. Had it...
